I think he would probably need to brush up just a little on foreign policy-just to be prepared. It can be tricky even for the smartest and wealthiest candidates. He’s got the rest down.
When it comes to specific nations, there are always cultural things to know when dealing with them. I agree with that.
I will also say that regional and global arrangements need to be studied to know the full dynamics.
There is a basic instinct about what is good for the nation though, and one mustn’t know everything to remain within the proper parameters.
He addressed the deal with Iran and was surprisingly informed about it. He pointed out several issues with it, and even touched on the issues of our hostages.
Some people don’t go entirely negative. He did say he thinks the Iranians were good negotiators and ours were terrible.
Nobody knows everything, so I agree you need to surround yourself with solid people. They will help fill in the gaps.
