You are a scion of a proud and ancient clan who turn water and barley malt – with a kiss of peat from the Northern Isles – into a potation fit for Kings!

You adhere strictly to the Ancient Rubric laid down by your Forefathers – there is no wheat – there is no maize! There is only select Barley mashed in the ancient way, pristine water from springs that feed the far Northern Lakes, and peat from the banks and braes of Scotland!

You eschew "decorated" potations – no umbrellas, swizzle sticks or straws! You drink your malt neat – preferably at cask strength. It is permissible to add water – from approved Highland springs only - to bring out the complexities of the bouquet – but only after you have reveled in the undiluted spirit rolling over your tongue.
