Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) has filed a motion to try to force Speaker John Boehner from his leadership post. The move, called a motion to vacate the chair, represents a new level of opposition to GOP leadership from the conservative wing of the House Republican Conference. The motion can be postponed for several days before consideration.
The resolution was filed late Tuesday afternoon, just one day before the House was slated to depart for its summer recess.

Mark Meadows is a gutsy guy and I’m proud to have him as my Congressman.
Perhaps a Tea Party rally at the Capitol steps to help support our friend Mr. Meadows when this comes up, is in order? He deserves our support.

I’m sure the RINOs are already making phone calls to reporters to have him completely trashed. He’s worse than 0, Pelosi, and Reed in their book. Let’s stand with this guy, we need to take out the trash in the Repub party.
Its amazing the con job my congressman pulls after voting for Boehner twice, he talks about the Constitution and calls himself a “patriot”, wears his National Guard service as a badge of moral superiority, but can’t avoid having Boehner in his district to speak at a fundraiser.
The guy gets to vote NO on a lot of bills when Boehner doesn’t need his vote (gets the D’s to put em over the top for Obama). He can use those NO votes to keep up the con job with the folks back home.
I hung out at the Republican Establishment meetings when I was younger and can vouch for Congressman Scott Perry’s loyalty to the GOPe in his youth when they trained him and ‘bred’ him for elected office.
People in OH truly believe in both plus Kasich!
Hopefully it will result in his removal, but I have my doubts it will.

Howie Carr asked Cruz if he would file a motion in the Senate, and Cruz brushed off the question. It was disappointing. Ted’s already burned his bridges, so he has nothing left to lose. Maybe he thinks it’s futile.

I fired off a note to my rep, the virtually useless Vickie Hartzler (MO-4), urging her to support Rep. Meadows in his effort to oust Boner.
She’ll send back a mealy-mouth response to let me know that Boner is the best thing since sliced bread.
I say this as an American. TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP!! Blow the political hell out of these bastards!! May God bless America!!
I don’t trust Trump yet. I’m a Cruz/Walker Walker /Cruz hopeful.
