Donald Trump is running for president. Many believed or hoped that the Donalds latest foray into national politics was nothing more than a public-relations move, not a serious attempt to reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
But now that Trump holds the lead in national polls, as well as polls in Iowa and New Hampshire, its time to take his campaign seriously. Media outlets like Huffington Post and the Wall Street Journal, which are covering Trumps run as an entertainment story, not a news story, are making a mistake. If Trump wants to be a serious candidate for president, and has the numbers to back it up, he must be vetted like a serious candidate for president. A good place to start is to take a hard look at Trumps ties to Philadelphia and New York organized-crime families.
Donald Trumps Connections to Organized Crime
Trump was building his eponymous empire of hotels, casinos, and high rises in the early 1980s in New York City and Atlantic City. In both places, the construction industry was firmly under the thumb of the mafia. And in both places there are literally concrete connections between La Cosa Nostra and Trumps lavish projects. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Cay Johnston, who has covered Trump for decades, has written a very useful list of questions for Trump. Many focus on his ties to the mob. In addition in his 1992 book, Trump, The Deals and the Downfall, author Wayne Barrett lays out a slew of suspicious dealings and associations.

Insinuations and insinuations. Has the media vetted Obama and Hillary yet?
The Donald does not “associate” with anybody, he engages in negotiations with whatever party presents anything of an obstacle, or there is some question of subordinating some objective to another objective. Neither “good” nor “evil”, but “what works” for the parties involved, and how do we get from here to there.
How close to the terrorist state of Iran is obama? But this kind of crap just keeps coming — they are terrified of someone who can’t be bought.
Closer than the Kennedy’s, the Clintoon’s or the Chigago Four (Axelrood, 0bie, ValJar and DeadFish)?
Close enough that he hired the junk yard dog lawyer Michael Cohen as his lawyer Of say he knows how to play hard ball with them. And has a list of who’s who that would rival the FBI.
Since his older sister is a federal judge. He knows many people on the right side of the law. Why no articles featuring that side of his life?
Let’s throw more crap on the wall and see what sticks.
Another BACKFIRE/FAIL from the McRove/Bush/George Will gang.
I’ve been pretty clear I’m not Trump’s biggest fan. However, some of the stories about him recently have seemed awfully desperate.
Maybe the Bushes. I want to know why Trump dislikes them so much. Or maybe I don’t!
How close was John F. Kennedy to the mob?
The mob may control all kinds of businesses but they can't shake down a guy with good connections to prosecutors and judges and with his own staff of lawyers. To them, Trump was just a civilian.
In fact, if anything, Trump probably got better service than just about anyone.
If he is in fact familiar with the Mob, it could make him a more effective President. He’d have the power to initiate investigations and take them down.
The Kennedys ARE The Mob.
I’m no fan of Trump, on the other hand look at all the people close to mobsters like Reid and Pelosi.
They are sooooo desperate. Soon it will be space aliens.
sounds like union thugs
Interesting disclosure. But the media is trowing all their bombs out now. It would be smarter to hold them until later. They must really be desperate.
Who's sister?
Maybe. Or they want the chaos that is sure to follow.
I love this, keep it coming and keep piling it on! Bash Trump! Hit him hard! Make up stuff! “Trump was a porn star”. “Trump was a shoplifter at age 15”. “Trump sleeps nekkid”. “Trump peed in an alley”. Whatever!
The left can’t help themselves, they are overdoing it and the more they do the thicker the Teflon on Trump gets. This is backfiring. Lol!
