Donald Trump was on with Cavuto today and doubled down on his earlier comments, saying the country has enough problems and it doesnt need an obnoxious blowhard like Pamela Geller starting trouble when there is no need for it.
VIDEO
It’s the drawback of having a businessman run as a politician.
So, we find something about which Trump doesn’t want the truth told.
Gator,
I agree that Trump has some baggage. I also agree it is fair to call him out on it and push for good conservatives like Cruz.
However, I think that dontreadthis is being disingenuous when he posts a three month old article, adds all caps to the headline, trying his best to make it look like something new, to stir the pot.
Dontreadthis,
Post the article without hyperbole and then say why it is important to look back and realize that what we are happy to see him high handedly do today we need to recall he is all over the map.
I say this because you are “playing’ your fellow posters on this forum by doing this in a misleading manner IMHO.
Best regards,
Burke
There are few NYC’ers and their urban know it all culture and political beliefs that rarely coincide with my own. Trump’s apparent brashness towards establishment elitedom I appreciate.
We need to restore the USA to fiscal and economic greatness. In the interim I’ve grown really weary of our political hacks importing poverty and pxssing away our resources and continued fretting about the Middle East. Let the ME take care of the ME. We need to take care of the USA.
Right, this isn’t a double down, it’s a repost/flashback.
Probably because it wasn’t posted in May when Geller co-sponsored event in Texas and has become topical since Trump moved to the front in the GOP polls.
In the words of Larry Silverstein on 9/11, “Pull it.”
The headline was copied and pasted as is.
The article, although 3 months old, had not been posted here.
It is both timely and relevant.
I, for one, appreciate what Trump has done thus far.
You wouldn’t want to restrict information, would you?
He has a history. If people would read it they would not be so fast to embrace him. But during his recent campaign event he flat out stated our future with him in charge.
“Sorry Conservatives”.
If people wish to ignore just what that means, so be it. That is how he would govern. His way. Not ours. And he is obviously not afraid to say so unambiguously. If conservatives are good with that we are screwed to begin with.
He should continue pounding on the enemy. He had liberal heads exploding.
Yep 2 1/2 months old.
Trump is too big in his own eyes to be objective about distant objects whether they be people or things. He does not even know Pamella Geller, but I bet he’s met Uri Geller the spoon bender. He’s so far under the covers with the oil sheiks that his “anti-terrorist” stance is little different from Obama’s. He spits out his stream of consciousness monologues without the tact or circumspection of a real politician. He is not suited to be the President. His contribution to the country should stay what it is, and go no further. To raise important issues and make bold engaging statements. For him to go beyond where he is right now would be a mistake, for him, and for us all.
I had to double check...I thought this all caps headline was from TODAY.
Has anyone asked, or seen, what Trump has to say about Pamela Gellar, more recently?
Just curious. TIA for any RECENT update on this.
Yup.

This remark, by Trump, was made before he announced. This is an almost 3 month old article. I’d be curious to know if Trump’s opinion has changed ... in light of his stance against islamic terrorism...and his noting of 0bie’s refusal to call it just that.
Garbage post. From 3 months ago. The Trump haters are embarrassing themselves.
This is over two months old - why is this being posted now?
I se that Trump now wants his honeymoon of being correct to be over.
Wish apparently granted.
