More liberal compassion at work...
He should have contacted the proper authorities before trying to start something in a restaurant.
Sounds like it might have been an employee, rather than a customer, who was parking in the handicapped space.
And it sounds like the Starbuck’s solution is to ask the landlord to move the handicapped parking away from the store.
Unfortunately, I can’t boycott Starbucks since I don’t drink their bitter swill, anyway.
Lets see... Buddy Brew, Kahwa or Indigo are better, so no big loss...
Buy your own raw coffee beans, toast them, make sure you over toast them, grind them and make your own Starbucks at home.
You can buy one of those funky cups and no one will ever know.
I see people every day parking in the handicapped spaces that have no business parking there. They have handicapped plackards but they obviously are not handicapped. It is young healthy people using grand moms car or her plackard. It makes me furious but I am not going to say anything to them.
Life was MUCH SIMPLER when all parking spaces were created equal.
The fine is $250 for the first offense here in the People's Republic. And the law is enforced.
I can’t think of anything less important to me than being banned from Starbuck’s for life.
Handicapped doesn’t necessarily mean physically. :-P
And I have to question the mental faculties of anyone who thinks that overpriced burnt sludge is worth drinking.
Not even Fox can get a headline correct. He wasn’t banned for exposing parking violations, he was banned for causing a disruption and threatening people.
If he’d wanted to address the parking issue, he could have called the local PD and gotten them issued a $200 parking ticket. This guy is unstable, and an attention seeking troll.
Let the cops handle it. Don’t just into stuff like this. And don’t take it inside Starbucks or any other place. It’s bad for business — and its a customers fault not the business’s. Likewise, the offender is prolly an A-hole and won’t care much while other customersmight be upset by the disturbance.
Make the guy’s latte cost him $250 and be done with it.
Although this guy is obviously a fruit loop, this topic is not as simple and clear as it may appear. It comes up a few times every year on FR.
The conundrum resolves to this : So many real and psychosomatic "handicaps" exist that literally can't be proven (and accepted uncritically) that no one can say with factual certainty that someone is or is not "handicapped."
Complicating that, is that even a "sticker" or interior mirror tag can be easily obtained. How can any doctor confirm that mind-numbing knee pain does or does not exist in a claimant?
Of course the small-minded busybody controlling twits are handicapped in an entirely different sense.
Why can’t we all just get along?
Libs are bad people.
