DULUTH, Ga. (AP)--The brief, chaotic life of Bobbi Kristina Brown was never really her own.
Born and raised in the shadow of fame and litigation, shattered by the loss of her mother, Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina was overwhelmed by the achievements and demons of others before she could begin to figure out who she was.
Her demise was the most awful inheritance of all.
Bobbi Kristina died on Sunday at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, about six months after she was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in the suburban Atlanta townhome she shared with Nick Gordon, the man she called her husband. She was 22-years-old.
"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months," Kristen Foster, a representative for the Houston family said Sunday. . .

Houston’s rendition of the national anthem was one of the best, but even she couldn’t resist tossing in a few embellishments. IMO it would have been absolutely perfect without them; still, it was a great performance.
Gee,the daughter of a slammed out junkie that od’ed and a drug abusing wife beater becomes a strung out junkie who overdoses and gets beaten into a coma by a drug abusing misogynist and eventually succumbs. Wow, didn’t take the Amazing Kreskin to predict that outcome.
Whitney was abused by the black community for “acting white” when she first made it big. I think she went to Bobby Brown for street cred and also to her ultimate spiritual and physical demise. So sad.
She was a strong Christian woman and sang moving inspirational songs - secular and Christian that influenced young people is such positive ways of a love higher than porn. She was classy rather than a whore like today’s big idols.
Although living a life of sin, I know she still believed in Jesus when she died. I know nothing about her poor daughter.
Whitney was an addict before she ever met Bobby.
Sorry to hear it. Very sad news.
It’s sad, but everyone know this was coming.
Yes, but it’s effing horrible.
22.
I had some friends when I was growing up in North Philly, that never made it to 25. Heroin. Bad stuff.
My one buddy... his momma found him dead in his room. 21 years old. Two others I grew up with - knew since kindergarten - died young too.
Dumbasses... putting that sh*t in their bodies.
It still bothers me to this day, thinking of it.
There is still speculation that her boyfriend hastened her death. Wonder if he will be charged with anything.
A convenient “SQUIRREL!!”
