The point is that with Win 10 that will no longer be possible. (unless youre an Enterprise customer)Are you entirely sure about that...I have not yet received win10, but my understanding was that you cannot turn off the "important" OS updates, but that does not hold true for the optional.

One would hope that Microsoft didn't redefine the word "optional", wouldn't one? :-) Yes, I believe you're right.
