I heard, probably more than once, on the Sunday shows expounding Trump's appeal as no-holds-barred, non-typical political talk which resounds with all of us who are stuffed to our eyeballs with the same ol', same ol' Boehner,McConnell crap. Thats' the reason for Trumps appeal (and similarly Bernie Sanders on the other side)

Agreed

More importantly, the thought plays out when Trump does not win the nomination, his support will necessarily transfer to someone else who is not afraid to speak out.

Can we spell C - R - U - Z ? He was mentioned as the benefactor...and maybe Rand Paul, as well.

The disgust with all things Washington is palpable and Obie is going above and beyond so that even liberals can't stomach it.

This will be an election like no other.

...All of this smacks of the Nazis. I visited Dachau and saw some of the experiments they conducted with their victims. One involved immersing the prisoners in ice cold water to determine how long they could survive. The data were collected to help the Nazis figure out ways to help downed pilots survive in the North Atlantic. The rationale was that the death of the prisoners would save lives. Sound familiar?...

Sounds disgustingly familiar. When I was a kid, my parents were reading William Shirer's "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich." Because that book contained a lot of disgusting stuff, my parents kept it in one of the drawers in their bedroom bureau--away from the kids. I used to sneak into their bedroom when they were away, and read the horrific descriptions of the Nazi's "medical research"--that you encountered during your visit to Dachau.

Sirer's description of Nazi "medical research" was the first thing that came to my mind as I watched Breitbart's first PP video. I certainly look forward to Breitbart's publishing "The Rise and Fall of Planned Parenthood." That book would quickly become a best-seller, and soon become a Oscar-winning documentary [produced and directed by D'Souza?]

I like your thinking!

And come to think of it, isn’t JEB and Hillary the Washington insiders?

JEB because of his family, and Hillary, because of her husband, Senate seat and SOS role.

No jumping of the bridge too soon - and no jumping without me.

I too will not vote R if we have a RINO nominee. All I am saying is we have a few month before we commit sepuku

I guarantee you, Jeb Bush would nominate more of a conservative for the Supreme Court than Hillary would present us with. As one example.

Me thinks you are on some kind of drugs. The BUSHES made abominable appointments to the Supremes - no different then Obama or Clinton

Bush 1 - Who made the majority in KELO - Yes we can steel your properyy - and we the SUPREMES (sing a little for me) can ignore the clear reading of the useless constitution.

Bush II - Who made majority in Omanacare - IT IS A TAX - suck it up ladies

To be fair, Ronal Reagan nominated Anthony Kennedy.

Wikipedia: Anthony McLeod Kennedy (born July 23, 1936) is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States who was appointed by President Ronald Reagan in 1988.

Better to use David Souter--but NOT Clarence Thomas or Robert Bork. Both of these gentleman, one made the it through the Senate, the other failed, are great conservatives who the Left despises.

Little has changed in the process. We have to do the best we can do in the primaries to elect the most conservative candidate we can. After that its over,we get who we get.

When is the last time you saw the Fox roundtable spend their entire time trashing a frontrunner and never say frontrunner?

Aren’t you glad McConnell refused a vote on a bill banning your tax dollars going to Planned Parenthood last week?

Yeah, it really is important Repubs vote their Party since they are so Pro-Life. You should hear what they say about Pro-Life Repubs in the back rooms.

Didn’t Fox Sooze promise us last week Trump was finished after saying he insulted everyone who ever wore a uniform?

Perry is only invited on any show to trash Trump. No other reason for Mr. 1% to be there. He has as much chance of winning the republican nomination as Hillary Clinton does. He’s turned into a bad joke.

You talking about Perry?

If so, I think you’re right.

He wants so bad to be in the debates I almost feel sorry for him.

Trump, heh, says that Perry needs to take an IQ test.

Man....Trump is gonna fry sooner or later.

You are not addressing the issue. I agree that running an establishment candidate is a losing strategy but even in a Ted Cruz-Hillary election if Trump runs as third party:
(a) Trump will not win
(b) Hillary will win
And that will be it for America.

It’s already it for America because the corportists in beltway GOP have shown they are happy to assist the Dems installing the progressive agenda. There is absolutely no indication that will change regardless of the outcome of 2016.

Trump is a disrupting the status quo. Therefore, it’s impossible to project what may happen in a 3 party race because there never has been a celebrity POTUS candidate like him. Reagan’s candidacy might be the closest comparison to Trump. How did that turn out for us?

I’m thinking that now also. It’s not going to get any better for the Surrender Party. A final humiliation on Iran, TPP/trade, ongoing defacto amnesty outrages, another omnibus crammed down, etc., etc.

The kenyan is flat out destroying the beltway GOP. Grinding them down into irrelevance. They are being reduced to a rubber stamping Supreme Soviet.

The GOP thought we had no choice but to vote for them. They didn’t plan on Trump showing up with his flamethrower and telling them: You’re fired!

These are historic times. Sadly, the GOP has chosen to be a bystander to history. What will happen in 2016 is right now impossible to predict.

"The dirty little secret is a candidate like Trump could win as a third party."

Interesting piece of information. What is your basis for it, since the only one to ever succeed was Abe Lincoln, a century and a half ago?

Abbott is a very smart man to be Texas governor. Really too smart for the position of Texas governor, who does not have much authority or responsibility under Texas law. There is absolutely nothing smart about GW Bush or Perry. I would suspect if not for his last name Bush would have probably been a used car salesman and Perry a ranch hand.

Sooner or later we have to take on some responsibility. If we wind up with another rino candidate we better start looking in the mirror and stop coming up with endless excuses.

Excuses don't count if you have kids and you don't want to leave them with a mess. If we have an enemy that lies endlessly and plays dirty every chance they get we better start countering whenever necessary.
