I thought you may want to know. People don’t know Trump’s position on healthcare. First he’s for repealing Obamacare. So he’s going replace Obamacare with another Obamacare?? LoL. No that don’t make sense and of course not true.

Trump spoke with the Chicago Tribune Editorial Board a little over 3 weeks ago.

Trump goes into detail over his healthcare plan in this interview. He is for private market and free enterprise healthcare. He’s for “erasing state lines” where people in any state can buy their healthcare insurance in any other state, which will increase competition and keep prices competitive. Trump’s wants healthcare systems and hospitals to give healthcare to the poor without government subsidies if possible and have deals between hospitals to take care of them. In other words, using good old fashion charity.

Listen here around 55 minutes into the interview where he discusses healthcare.

Thanks - glad to hear. It definitely sounds like Trump has thought this through, a lot, over the years (unlike Rick Perry in 2012, LOL).

Trump wants healthcare systems and hospitals to give healthcare to the poor without government subsidies if possible and have deals between hospitals to take care of them. In other words, using good old fashion charity.

This is what he is advocating, but there's just a couple of problems with that. There's nothing good or old fashioned about it. Charity is giving people in your community limited help. It isn't providing broad health care services across the nation for free.

Rooms, food, physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, nurses aides, maternity, staffing, central supply, housekeeping, orderlies, plant services, maintenance, equipment (multi-million on down), medications, Pixis machines, computers, IT Services, surgeries, physical therapy, inhalation therapy, radiology, cat scans, other testing, GI Labs, Cath Labs, Emergency Rooms, supplies, billing, records and charting, accreditation costs, accounting, staffing, chaplains, social workers, secretaries, an administration, and stuff I just forgot to mention... they all cost money.

Politicians seem to think that hospitals operate in some alternate universe where the concept of money hasn't been invented yet.

Health care is not free. Hospitals can't just eat the costs of health care for 45 million people.

Maybe they've seen too many movies where the person gets out of the cab without paying.

Every time I see this sort of comment by people, I just look down and shake my head.

I support his private enterprise plans, but when he gets to this, it reveals significant ignorance on this aspect of his plan.

“He is for private market and free enterprise healthcare. “

Yes he is. He also talked about opening insurance monopolies to expand across state lines. THat is a smart business move. Opens up competition that would keep lower prices for those buying insurance.

From what I can see, this article site is either purposely lying or not informed. It certainly has a agenda. Propaganda?
