Well youngsters ...

Who me? I wish.

...You should try it .... after your gym workout, of course.

I don't need it after my workouts.

I make my own.

Endorphins.

It’s amazing how much we just throw those drugs around too. I had a bit of dental surgery done earlier this year and I never needed more than a single advil at a time to control the pain. But they gave me a scrip for vicodin (which I didn’t fill). Then they have the audacity to wonder why heroine use is on the rise.

Interesting how you take a 50 year old memory and meld it with a present day situation to arrive at a completely illogical and false conclusion ...

Kind'a like how we get democrats and obamacare ...

Total B/S. Nobody makes a decision to smoke pot rather than have a safe, economically viable retirement location. Who comes up with this crap...pot smokers?

Seniors..plural..they found two or three seniors, maybe one couple? who are deciding to move to Oregon, in part, because of marijuana laws?

I wouldn’t dare tell God anything. I ask him to forgive my sins, as you should.

Nevermind the smell. It’s free love. Can’t you just feel it?

Interesting!

Many of the health afflictions of older Americans push them to seek out dispensaries for relief.

“A lot of the things marijuana is best at are conditions which become more of an issue as you get older,” said Taylor West, deputy director of the Denver-based National Cannabis Industry Association. “Chronic pain, inflammation, insomnia, loss of appetite: All of those things are widespread among seniors.”

They’re not that old. They look like twenty-something tweakers to me.

Nobody is telling God anything. God told us. He gave us dominion over the earth and its living creatures and plant life. You may want to check your mirror for that presumptuous attitude you are alluding to.

He made hemp for rope, not for dope. Some people try to misapply his creations and then claim it was his idea.

That would be you. You have made yourself a god. You determine what each thing may/may not be used for. Apparently, you have not been at the bedside of a loved one that is being eaten alive by cancer. I have. It is safe to say you haven't seen someone wasting away the effects of chemo. I have. The anti-nausea medicines don't work. Where before there was muscle and flesh, there are bones in full definition. Until you've been there, like I have, you might change your mind. Please don't reply to me. I have nothing further to say to you.

There are much better drugs for alleviating pain. The medical marijuana movement is a giant scam for broader legalization - and it worked here in Colorado.

My son who has a drug problem and has been to jail for it got his “red card” for nonexistent scoliosis at age 19. Its a joke. And those who do not think mj is as powerful as vicodin are barking up the wrong tree....

I could say the same thing about abortion.

But then I would be planned parenthood selling parts from murdered babies....

It's not just for pain you quack. Anti-nausea. Can't keep food down. Loss of appetite. Sorry your son has a drug abuse problem but it hasn't anything to do with people who have other diseases and need treatment.
