This is Scott Walker personified. he is a good man; a considerate man; a man of faith.
^^^^^ This.
Thanks Nachum.
Wow! Maybe you need to learn how to spell - the Senator’s name is Ted Cruz .. not “Cruze”.
From what I've seen and read, Walker does have "a pattern" of attending funerals of Wisconsin servicemen who were killed in line of duty. As far as he is concerned, it's in keeping with his role as governor of Wisconsin.
Sometime others cannot see the intent of the misspelling. I like Senator Cruz just fine. It is his supporters that find the only way they can show their support is by trashing a decent Governor. That was the purpose of the misspelling. I do not care if you like it, I am merely giving you the why.
Keep in mind that most of the people who are “trashing” in the name of Cruz .. are not really Cruz supporters at all. They are Twitter or Facebook people who come to FR to stir things up.
We had the same issues during the 2000 election .. only it was the McCain groupies who would try to tear everybody apart.
Nothing’s changed .. just a different group.
That makes sense. Seems some days this place is infected with bjClinton voters claiming to be conservative.
Walker cancels campaign event to attend funeral of Chattnooga Marine.
FReep mail me if you want on, or off, this wisconsin interest ping list.
I’m glad to hear that he did that for our hero!
How nice to see LEADERSHIP.
How nice to see someone DO THE RIGHT THING without reading a poll as to which way the wind is blowing that day.
How nice to see RESPECT for our military and a Fallen Hometown Hero.
Walker/Cruz 2016
He’s our flippin’ GOVERNOR! He attends this stuff on a regular basis.
Even our Socialist-Lawyer-Putz, Ex-Governor, ‘Diamond Jim’ Doyle used to do the same.
But, I understand the confusion. After DECADES of America being adrift and rudderless, LEADERSHIP becomes hard to recognize. ;)
Plus, the slain Marine was from Kenosha. It is right that he attended — not a campaign ginnic.
God bless this slain U.S. Marine and Governor Walker for doing right by him.
Governor Walker was NOT acting politically!
He was honoring Marine Sgt. Carson Holmquist.
