Tchaikovsky: Serenade for Strings in C Major, Op. 48, Second MovementPeter Tchaikovskys first American tour featured this serenade as the centerpiece. Right after it, he wrote the 1812 Overture, a piece he was sure would be forgotten. This movement from the serenade is a waltz with an unforgettable tune.
