Mozart: Piano Concerto #20 in D minor, K. 466, Second MovementBefore there was a recording industry, this was always thought by laymen to be “the” Mozart piano concerto. Thanks to the industry, we know it as one of 27 piano concerti by the Master. It’s beautiful and placid – until you reach the stormy middle section. But the beauty returns at the end. This is Condoleeza Rice’s favorite concerto, and she played it in her first public concert as a teenager.
