Whether Trump gets the nom is not the important message for the GOPe to see and understand.
The Republican base is telling them, “Run another middle of the road nominee again in 2016, and we will run away from you in droves.
Jeb is the one that has peaked....... at 14%.
The same people who claim 75% of voters are against Trump (because he is polling 25%) can’t fathom their own candidate has 93% or 94% against.
I would loathe Trump also if the candidate I am advising is at 7% and Trump is at 25%. My candidate is likely to fire me because of his lousy poll numbers!
They can fathom well enough. If the media were doing anything close to honest, our disgust about Jeb Bush's impotence to save Terri Schiavo from a horrific death would be openly discussed as an unavoidable reason Jeb's unfavorability rating isn't going down.
They don't care. If they can force-feed up Jeb vs hillary, "what difference does it make?"
