Scott Walker seems fixated on Marco Rubio.
Wednesday on CNN, the Wisconsin governor *again* suggested Rubio should be his running mate. Walker couched it in terms that his supporters keep on bringing up Rubios name. But Walker has done it enough times to suggest its something else.
The first mention came in March when a Republican leader in Iowa said Walker to hold him, if he were the nominee Rubio would make a terrific running mate."
Now comes the gauzy CNN piece, an interview conducted by Republican pundit S.E. Cupp, who asked about the senators in the GOP primary. Walker, who has stumbled on foreign policy, said agrees with Rubio "a lot of national defense issues."
So if I write a column that called for a Walker-Rubio ticket," Cupp said, "would that make me really prescient, would that make me sort of like a fortune teller?
Walker laughed, then replied: You know, of people who have made suggestions to me, that is probably 90-to-10 the suggestion that people make, Walker said.
Cupp then asked Walker what band would play the soundtrack to your life? Van Halen, Walker said.
Rubio, meantime, is looking forward to seeing Straight Outta Compton.

If he ran with Rubio...we know the truth about his amnesty, open border plan.
NO to backstabbing weasel Roofio.
Really? I don’t think he’s gay.
This could be a great way to cut down on the oversized field—pair everyone up right now!
Trump/Cruz
Jeb/Christie
Walker/Rubio
Carly/Carson
Paul/Graham
Huck/Santorum
Perry/Kasich
That’s a pretty good start. We could alternate, two top-of-the-ticket debates for every undercard fight.
Not only would he give him Florida, he would give him the Presidency.
Maybe not. But he always pegged my gadyar. Been wrong before though.
LOL, hardly. Trump will have flamed out or gone third party by then.
I'm not at all surprised at Walker/Rubio, though. My husband has been predicting it all along.
Well his wife has great taste in music and decade so he is obviously an astute individual ;)
I knew I liked you. Thanks, Norm. :)
Long live the EIGHTIES
It’s my modest, non-confrontational personality. Everyone loves me for it ;)
Yes, you’re unique that way. Meekness just explodes every which way from you. :D
It’s not easy being a beta male. I’m working on being more assertive though. Someday I hope to be as manly as my idol, Morresy.
Well somebody has to say it. Scott Walker is a mediocre establishment candidate.
I admit my gaydar is pathetic...and I’m a woman. They have to be flaming for me to notice. But a Sunday radio show, Bruce Dumont I think, out of Chicago, had someone on who intimated that if Rubio became a factor he would face expose of a “woman problem”.
I’m sorry, but you’re going to have to work hard to achieve that goal.
Leaving off with the crying jags would be a good start.
Scary thought, Rubio, the biggest OPEN BORDERS Republican possibly in the history of the party, just ONE HEARTBEAT from the top job.
...says something about Walker’s judgment too. Sad that he didn’t consider Cruz instead.
I was thinking about attending some vegan meetings and campaigning to take pet away from children. Thats pretty manly. Maybe writing a song about how I feel.
Oh, for Pete's sake. Do you really think Walker's choosing a running mate a year ahead of time? Get real. he's just trying to minimize Rubio - make him look less important.
Interesting take on Wonderland you got there.
As if the USCOC would allow THAT, much less the GOP.
