The Chattanooga gunman who killed five U.S. troops acted alone without help from anyone else, and investigators are treating him as a "homegrown violent extremist," the FBI said Wednesday.
However, it is too early to determine whether Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez was "radicalized" before the attacks at two military sites, said Ed Reinhold, the FBI's special agent in charge in Knoxville.
Officials did not clarify the difference between homegrown violent extremism and radicalization.
For the first time, officials provided a rough timeline of what happened at the second facility the 24-year-old attacked. Abdulazeez opened fire on the first facility, a recruiting office, from his rented, silver Mustang convertible and never got out. He then went to a joint Marine-Navy facility about 7 miles away.

Honestly, when was the last time the FBI commented on such things that one would care what they said? A long time ago.

The second location was not a recruiting office. It is a Navy Reserve training center. Either he toured the place before, or someone on the inside gave him the layout. There are a lot of Muslims in the US military now. :(

When you look at his background, there isn't a single piece of evidence that he isn't a Muslim terrorist. He spent 6 months last year in the middle east, including Yemen.
You’re welcome. I thought the same thing, but I couldn’t figure out how this turd killed five highly trained individuals at a recruiting office based on the stories out there. So I looked up the place where the five were killed on a map. And I saw the picture of the car crashed through the fence. If you look at the parking lot and what not at the second location, you can imagine how unarmed Marines training without weapons outside could be easy targets if caught unaware. It obviously could have been much worse! There were a lot of people there.
All the govt alphabet agencies are led by the same blind jackass.

I scanned the article several times. Nearly 20 paragraphs and the words ‘Islam’ or ‘Islamic’ is in not one sentence.
Uhh. The homegrown extremist’s name is mentioned.
“Homegrown my (beautress). Imported terrorism.”
Sadly, we now home-grow our terrorists too. No shortage of training and inspiration for “the cause” for those people, right on American soil.
