Ill quote a little but youre better off reading the whole thing. Therell be lots of media noise around it for the next few days, especially after Trump responds. And its a fine indictment of Hopenchange even apart from the Trump stuff. Hes trying to do two things here, picking a fight with the medias favorite candidate to gain some reflected exposure and re-introducing himself to righties who disdain Trump but arent sure which way to go yet as an alternative. This is Perry telling Trump-haters, of which there are many, that their choices arent between Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz.
By the way, when was the last time one candidate attacked another this extensively this early in a primary? You can imagine that in the context of a primary challenge to an incumbent president, where the insurgent wants to make a comprehensive case against the tenure of the man in charge, but I cant recall an example in an open field like this one.
In times of trouble, there are two types of leaders: repairers of the breach and sowers of discord.
The sower of discord foments agitation, thrives on division, scapegoats certain elements of society, and offers empty platitudes and promises. He is without substance when one scratches below the surface.
He offers a barking carnival act that can be best described as Trumpism: a toxic mix of demagoguery, mean-spiritedness and nonsense that will lead the Republican Party to perdition if pursued. Thats just the warm-up.
Donald Trump is the modern-day incarnation of the know-nothing movement.

Go away, Perry.
Some one should ask Perry how can you claim to be tough on border control when you reward those who make it across illegally with instate tuition?
Rick needs to look around, its not 2012. He had his 15 minutes and due to whatever reason he fell on his face.
I voted for Perry every Governor election and thought he did a top notch job as Governor for the most part.
This turn he’s way out of his league and should come back to Texas and enjoy retirement.
Totally aside from Perry. Curious about your comment about killing coyotes. Care to iterate?
Red Hot Chili Peppers reference.
Red Hot Chili Peppers, saw them at some little dive in Dallas in 76. Wish I was able to remember more about the night.
There’s nothing quite like living down to the MSM’s stereotypes about the South, is there?
***************************************
What does Perry have to do with the South? He’s a Texan.
Only far East Texas counts as a ‘cousin’ to the South.
Perry shot that coyote in a fit of rage after the animal beat him in chess.
Rick has lost it and now needs to be in a rubber room with McCain as a bunk mate. He should have never bloviated about securing Texas’ borders despite the Feds unwillingness. Once he folded, he was toast and he knows it. Sad that he is becoming petty on top of it.
Perry is a small minded, mean-spirited, aggravating, little troll, he should drop out NOW and save himself some embarrassment.
The biggest positive contribution of Trump, is that he exposes all the RINOs, for all the world to see.
