My thread was simply repeating his previous insults. The truth is I’m a Cruz supporter and I’m just enjoying Trump. These guys that are crapping themselves in fear are cracking me up. They simply don’t have the faith in Cruz’s debate skills that I have.

CofA can you believe this guy? I mean, isn't the irony rich?

Obviously reading prior threads is not what you are paid for.

You're a real piece of work.....if you had read any of FR in the past six weeks you'd know that you have been bitching at the numero uno person who is enjoying Trump, but who supports Cruz ultimately and who thinks that Trump's surge will ultimately redound to Cruz' benefit....the only difference between you and I is that I do tire of those who have bought into the Trump savior theme.

It is you who needs to read more, so that you don't embarrass yourself with insults of someone who you agree with 99%....

Trump could be elected on that issue alone. The country knows we are being invaded and colonized. Trump made that his issue. Others could have made that their issue but declined to do so. Trump owns the immigration issue and if he stays on point and doesn’t do anything really stupid, that issue will get him elected President of the United States.

Hey, I don't need your lecture on what crony capitalism is, pal. I've been around the block too many times to be stupid.

But it is also something I can't control. So I deal with the real world, not your utopian world of things being fair and how nice it would be if everything was the way you dream it should be. I'm a realist. I deal in the world I live in, not in a dream world I wish it would be.

No matter who is elected, there will be faults and negatives with the candidate. If not Trump, then some polished politician who is no better but has learned to speak better. Look at Obama. Everybody saw "hope and change" in him and he sounded so good. But he is a snake in a politician's skin and has done the opposite of what he says. The only hope and change is that HE was hoping he could change this country to a socialist hellhole. And he's doing a pretty good job so far.

If Trump manages to hold on and get the nomination, I will vote for him in a heartbeat. What's my other choice? Hillary? Bernie? And it's not sitting on my hands at home refusing to go to the polls like so many on the Right have done the last two presidential election cycles because the candidate wasn't "their" candidate or wasn't perfect enough for them. Doing that is not an option, it is an excuse.

So, I get it. You don't like Trump. Join the crowd of liberals, RINOS and GOP establishment do-nothing types who are trying to take him down. He's bypassing all of you and going straight to the American people. He energizing them and getting them excited about voting for someone who doesn't fit the mold of politics as usual. Me, I like to go against the grain too. So I'll enjoy riding his horse while it's still in the race.

And you sir, need to pick your guy and defend him or her instead of spending time lecturing the rest of us on how bad our guy is. Good luck with that.

It's unreal.

And now I need to get off the thread. I see Trump being lauded as the new Churchill, and my stomach won't take it this morning.

"single issue voters have my permanent contempt"

Illegal Alien Crime Wave in Texas: 611,234 Crimes, 2,993 Murders

So what is more important then staying alive or if you are a woman not getting raped and then murdered? BTW the real number are higher then the numbers in the article.

There is only one issue this election and (illegal) immigration is the issue.

You know, I’ve got to confess something...I really really really despise it when people make false extrapoliatons and use flawed logic. You did both....meaning you either think I’m stupid, or proving that you are.

Your post would only make sense in one condition...that I said illegal immigration (and the related topics) was not important. I never said that, therefore, your post is immature babble.

crony capitalism is when certain groups (like your union thug buddies at UAW and ALF CIO and so on) get special protection, therefore screwing all consumers and several other industries.

So this backfired on you...yet another exploding cigar from you....one of the three most ignorant Freepers of all time on economics.

I don't disagree with what you said, and you seem to be missing my point intentionally, or perhaps ignorantly (I'll give you benefit of the doubt).

So it's the real world, and it may be utopian to think it will go away.....fine...still doesn't mean we need one of the main practitioners of it in charge.....which WAS MY ONLY POINT.....did I type slowly enough?

So what is the current percentage of the USA manufacturing work force that is unionized? Multiple choice:
  1. <5%
  2. 10%
  3. 15%
  4. 20%
  5. >20%

There is not a damn thing you can do about crony capitalism that you loathe so much, by voting for Trump or a non-Trump. Crony capitalism is usually carried out by the Congress and lobbyists, not the president. And it's been my experience from voting for these politicians since the 1960's, that none of them ever perform like they promise in their campaigns anyway. They's all a bunch of crooks, even the good ones.

And maybe I didn't type slowly enough in my response for you to figure out what I was saying. Or maybe you're just slow on the uptake. But I'll give you the same benefit of the doubt, as well. YOU NEED TO PICK YOUR GUY OR GAL AND DEFEND THEIR RECORD AND EXPERIENCE INSTEAD OF SPENDING TIME LECTURING THE REST OF US ON HOW BAD OUR GUY IS. My guy's got purple pimples and your guy's got red pimples, but they both have pimples. And like I said before, I don't see any of the other 15 candidates in the race now who aren't flawed to some degree, so good luck with that.

We need a real leader and achiever in the White House, not a choir boy with no stains on his robe.

Well, Sarah Palin and I both think that's idiotic. So does Ted Cruz. So do a lot of people...and I'll tell you why it's idiotic...cronyism has EXPLODED GREATLY since 2009...there are reasons for that......meaning there are things we can do about it.....mostly shrinking government, which is not a big issue on Trump's mind.

Donald Trump: As president, 'I'll change my tone'

Don't say that.... your tone is exactly what's needed around here.

I’m only posting the following so I can say “told ya”: in two months maybe three, Trump is going to say or do something that will make his comments about McCain look like a diplomatic speech.

Until then, why can’t we all just enjoy the ride he is providing?

Geez, you're a broken record, stuck on the same song over and over and over again.

I didn't say I liked or agreed with crony capitalism, because I don't. But that is not the sole issue of a campaign. I'm sure lots of people would say they don't like it but when it comes to specific issues they want addressed by our leaders right now, it probably doesn't make the list. And personally, I can't do anything about it. And I really like Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz, but so what? She's not running for anything and he's lagging 15 points behind Trump in the latest polls. How is their opinion going to change anything?

Hey, I could pick an issue like honesty and argue all day long that lying and dishonesty are not what we need in a president but look at our current Liar-in-Chief? He lies every time he opens his mouth. I can't believe a word he says anymore because he has openly lied so many times he can't be trusted. But do you think that issue would convince the democRATS to change their tune? No, because look who they want to elect in this election, that serial, congenital liar, Hillary Clinton. So dwelling on a bad trait, like lying, or a single issue, like crony capitalism, may make you feel better personally but it doesn't always change reality and change how people will vote. People always have to overlook negatives of candidates when they vote because, again, nobody is perfect in this world.

And please go peddle your "corny capitalism is bad" issue to someone else. I got it already, okay?

Well, we can enjoy that ride.....but I cannot "just" enjoy the ride because so many people foolishly believe it's the way, the truth and the light.....
