It was alleged that she assaulted the police officer, and kicked him. If the video demonstrated that, it would make his version stronger.
Yes, seriously.
A cigarette can be used to injure another person.
And I am no kind of pussy, punk ass.
Depends where you grew up. In west L.A., they were arseholes in the late 60's. Got stopped, ordered out of the car as well as my friend for alleged speeding, going along with the flow of traffic. Cops proceeded to open my glove compartment and rifle through it without permission, etc.
Let us go eventually with a 10mph over ticket, but certainly were looking for anything they could beyond a simple ticket. Did not even mention how could I be speeding while following a dozen other cars, good thing, would have invited a beat down maybe even back then.
Never had a lick of respect for them since. Many more corrupt encounters with them since. Punks, all.
When dealing with the police, I have found that “yes sir” and “no sir” will get you a lot further than “FU”.
If she kicked him, it was off camera and there was another officer there, soon into the off camera skirmish.
It also sounded like perhaps somebody else was there taking video, too. I *think* I heard him tell someone to stop.
Anyhow, it will all come out. It all seems fairly well documented.
She made two mistakes, she should have humored him and put out the ciggy and then she killed herself. That’s a sad and permanent mistake. I wish she wouldn’t have done that.
Sig Heil!
Thank you for posting your thoughts...........
Bingo.
Lying cops are cops we don't need.
That guy needs another job.
Here, let me educate you since you don't seem to know anything other than bad words for female body parts.

"The 26-year-old actress and wife of retired senator Rod Zimmer has been accused of attacking two people at an Ottawa medical clinic with a lit cigarette..."
Now that I have taken time out of my day to educate you, hopefully you will be slightly less stupid in the future.
Well, seeing as how she is no longer on this earth, seems like she should have gone about things differently, right?
Hint: The answer is yes.
And you are most welcome for my posting my thoughts.
My hope is that people like you can learn from them, but somehow, I doubt it very much.
Yup....me too....but not everyone is wired like that and cops are trained to deal with people who are upset.
The cops here in toledo are actually pretty cool...you really have to be acting stupid to piss them off....they have seen it all and yawn.
But if you really want to be an assclown...they will do the paperwork and process your ass.
I actually got to kick my ex wife’s boyfriend’s ass in my front yard AND get him arrested...
And as he was crying and whining about getting “assaulted” after calling me out at 2:45 in the morning...
The cop accidentally thumped the boyfriends head on the cruiser while trying to help him into the car....LOL
When you get out in the burbs they call back up for jaywalkers....cuz that is about all they have to do I guess.
BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Dude I carry a .357 mag.....you think I’m sacred of a cigarette?...or even a whole pack?
You think a COP is afraid of a cigarette?
OMG that is funny as hell!
I’m glad you find yourself amusing. I expect that if you couldn’t laugh at yourself, you’d live in a humorless world.
What I think is that I told you and showed you the reason why he told her to extinguish her cigarette, and why it was indeed a lawful order.
Whether or not you think it’s funny or your scared of it isn’t relevant at all, much like the rest of your lunatic drivel.
Now go find a way to make yourself less useless if you can.
Oh bullcrap now you are trying to read the cops mind and play amateur lawyer.
There is no indication, statement, or evidence to show that the cop was being threatened or felt threatened by a cigarette.
Nice try though.
small world. I live in Toledo too. And yes, Toledo cops are typically very even handed in my experience. I have never had anything but positive experiences with them. I’m always friendly towards them and support them 100%. They have a rough job and I can’t imagine what this town would look like if they weren’t there doing it. The last TPD LEO I talked to gave me some TPD schwag actually.
“”For example, a lighted cigarette can be a dangerous weapon if it is used to burn someone;”
Here, once again for the dense.
I never said he was being threatened or felt threatened, did I?
I said a cigarette can be used as a weapon, which is why he told her to extinguish it.
Police will often order people to extinguish cigarettes when they are in close proximity and/ or about to place the person under arrest.
Why should a police officer allow an angry person and/ or an angry person that they are about to arrest stand in close proximity to them with a burning object that is quite capable of causing injury?
Never mind. Don’t bother answering. you don’t get it, because you don’t want to get it.
But it doesn’t matter, it was a lawful order, she disobeyed, therefore she escalated, and now she’s dead, and nothing’s going to be done about, and nothing should be done about it.
Bye.
Btw...I once got out of line...and I mean WAY out of line with a few toledo cops...they had no problem kicking my ass....but at least it took three of them....and I looked like I got tossed out of a moving car...LOL
The worst part was having to apologize to them in front of a Judge...but it kept me out of jail....no I take that back....the worst thing was having my mother pick me up in the morning...ROFL...mom was not pleased.
I'm no angel....but I am on the righteous side of hell.
when I was 18 or 19, I got my butt kicked by a local cop a little bit. I so had it coming. having drinks right now btw. Cheers!
Cheers and nite.
No.
He knew she was irritated. He initiated a
power struggle when he unnecessarily told
the irritated woman to put out her cigarette.
He added fuel to the fire when he got into
a loud pissing contest with her, demanding that
she exit the car. From her perspective the only
reason he ordered her out of the car was because
she refused to extinguish her cigarette. It sure
looked that way to me.
That the officer thought he could be jammed
with a lit cigarette is kind of a stretch IMO.
