An old article, but relevant in today's elections as Trump is trying to re-invent himself again.

Those would be the Bush bailouts that Trump had nothing to do with.

You however probably voted for Bush.

Do you know what hypocrisy means?

Some of you have your mouths open hoping a unicorn will spit his Skittles into it.

You aren’t getting perfection in Election 2016. You’re getting Cruz doing a good college try with all minorities, gays, and libs thinking they hate him. Ending with someone like Jeb. Versus Hillary or another lib Dem. The whole thing, sans Trump, will be controlled by the liberal PC Media.

Or, Trump could non PC truth into this whole Kabuki dance. If he brings Cruz aboard, it’s the fastest way to get Cruz into the WH at all.

THAT IS THE CHOICE.

Anyone picking at how non-conservative Trump is, is complaining that their Rec Cross Emergency water doesn’t come with a lime slice.

Labor will join in the Trump movement. Walker will have zero labor support. Reagan had huge labor support.

Trump is not Jeb Bush. Trump can take out Jeb Bush in the debates. If we have Jeb Bush we have Mexico North looking our way. We need all hands on deck to fight the Bush dynasty or he is it.

Nothing is more obviously self-defeating than spitting in the eye of those in the process of coming around to one's way of thinking.

Most Americans have been indoctrinated to some extent by the mass media, who parrot the biased premises of the Left-wing academic establishment. Rich or poor, most have bought the lunacy that people are interchangeable; that they are products of their social environment; that if the central planners can change the social environment, they can miraculously change the behavior of those who act badly, or ineffectively; that socialism, some how, really does work for human betterment.

On the economic front, most have bought some part of the Keynesian fantasy that there is a long-term benefit for artificially rigging the economy, etc..

While I personally believe that Donald Trump is in the process of waking up; that his friendship with Ted Cruz is genuine; that he has a bit of Teddy Roosevelt in him--the good part, not Teddy's embrace of a bit too much dependence on the central Government;--that his love for America is the precipitant of that waking up; there is certainly plenty of time for me to be proven wrong, over the next nine or so months before the Ohio Primary.

But, in the meantime, those of us who really want to turn America back to her heritage, will continue to encourage Donald Trump and other prominent Americans to do exactly what Donald Trump is doing right now--speaking out and challenging the bullies who want to force all Americans to walk on egg shells, as it were, rather than give offense to the beneficiaries of Leftist activism.

Trump isn’t conservative, but neither was Romney, McCain, or most if not all of the chumps running.

And those who claimed to be conservative and are in congress... Funny how they changed their tune and went along with Boehner/McConnell and supported Obama’s lunacy.

The threshold issue of 2016 is immigration. A candidate's stance on any other issue is irrelevant unless they are going to remove the illegals, protect our voting system and enforce our borders. Otherwise, the illegals will be voting in greater numbers very soon, taking Texas, Florida, and many other states to where they have already taken California. At that point, it does not matter what someone's position was on homo marriage or auto bailouts. Marco Rubio, take note. He's pretty good on everything except immigration. Bye Marco. Scott Walker is iffy. Only Ted Cruz is a conservative who is solid on immigration.

So, while Ted Cruz remains my number one choice, if Trump can win, and if he is not just jerking us around like with the birth certificate, and if he stays in it to win it, then I have no problem with him being the nominee. We need to watch him very carefully. I still don't know if his motives are sincere, and if his immigration position is genuine. But I am glad he is making this the issue.

Donald Trump supported auto bailouts in 2008.

Hardly worth mentioning at this point.

Trump could advocate for seizing homes via eminent domain to pay for socialized medicine for union workers' abortions while yelling "Hail, Satan!" and a bunch of people here would still scream about how "conservative" he is because he has, after decades, started to pay some lip service to immigration issues (although he favors amnesty).

Here’s a side of detailed explanation, to go with your Trump hit piece....

Trump: Rescue Big 3, but Then Its Bankruptcy

The U.S. government should proceed with the proposed bailout of the Big Three automakers, but a key condition of funding should include a massive reorganization through Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, business magnate Donald Trump says.

Trump on Wednesday said a combined bailout and bankruptcy would restore consumer confidence in the carmakers and allow Detroit to pay its creditors, which will boost the U.S. economy. The survival of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler is important to the long-term health of the United States, Trump told CNBC....

.....”If you look at the airlines, I mean, I’d rather buy a car than fly in an airline that is in Chapter 11,” said Trump.

“When Delta went, when United went, and so many others, people didn’t stop flying. In fact, I think their business went up. As long as they know the company is going to exist, people will continue to fly. You sit there as long as it takes to get wonderful union contracts and wonderful contracts with your suppliers and everyone else.”

This is an example of somethign I have been talking about for a while.

They are trying to ‘prove’ he is NOT a conservative... why would they be doing that? Because they know we WANT conservatives.

The ONLY people running as proud conservatives are the lying liberals.

They know the people will fall for it and believe them, and that the people really want conservative values.

But the Stupid Party cowers in fear every time they media accuses them of being one of those evil conservatives.

he’s a tough talker...big deal.

Usually “tough talk” as the new #1 character trait to be elected POTUS whether conservative or not, I think Bob Knight as about the same “tough talk” as Donald Trump. So let’s vote Bob Knight for Pres!
