Yea, it was painful. I actually go back to the early 90s with him. Back then I faxed a suggestion to every Republican Senate officeholder, a suggestion that could give them a very strong voting base, with people that would otherwise vote across the spectrum. Without going into details (as I rather not do), most reacted with form-responses - not so bad. But I still remember McCain, there was VISCERAL HATRED in his response - it shocked me and I’ll never forget that.
That is who he is.
