Was Trump in favor of the stupidest war this country ever fought...Vietnam....50,000 brave soldiers dead, hundreds of thousands injured, and national debt took a quantum jump. Virtually every male student around his age also received yearly deferments at least until graduation from college. Made a good incentive to stay in school.

In the late 60s, there was a cry that a disproportionate number of black males were being drafted/sent to Vietnam but that was because they did not go to college.
