You are right Perot could have won had he not dropped out for some asinine reason. His dropping out and then getting back in showed the country he was a unserious flake.

Can't disagree with that. I supported Perot until he dropped out, then voted for GHWB. Back in 1992, after Perot dropped out, I told a passionate Perot supporter and idolizer that: "History called and Perot went home". Infuriated her, but that is about what happened.
