Seems Israel will need a new source.

With Israel's innovation and expertise, the new weapons will likely be quite good, and available to others as well as Israel.

Ash Carter doesn’t control that department any more than I did when I was in uniform. They should’ve said that Valerie Jarrett nixed any extra for Israel.

Every time I see an arms deal (be it to Israel or others) it is always the indebted USA taxpayers and middle class citizens getting the bill from GE or General Dynamics. It is long past time that politicians start sending the bill to actual recipients instead of being pretentious and pretending to be generous rich uncles with other people’s (OUR) money.

I’ve read that Israel and Saudi Arabia have been in deep conference lately. I don’t blame Israel at all. It is obvious they have no ally as long as Obama is President. In fact they need to watch what info they allow the United States to learn about. Israel is focused on the image of it’s survival. Obama has decided to focus on the image of United States sublimation , subjection and eventual demise.

Ash Carter needs to be handed a piece of paper saying his presence is no longer needed and that Israel has taken care of the Iran problem.

“With Israel’s innovation and expertise, the new weapons will likely be quite good, and available to others as well as Israel. “

Having worked for both an Israeli defense company and many US companies, I can attest that Israeli equipment is frequently superior to what we field. The problem they have is cost. They don’t, for example, make their own airplanes. The costs are prohibitive. Ours are cheaper because the lines supply not only the US but many forwign countries. So, the same, say, fighter jet with similar capabilities would cost many times more per copy than buying a US plane. Even if the Israeli model is superior, they can’t afford enough of them.

I suspect that if Israel goes to war it will be the first war fought almost entirely by drones. Tiny, cheap and disposable...drones.

We should be selling/loaning/giving the Israeli armed forces our B-2B Stealth bomber, with hundreds of our Massive Ordinance Penetrators (MOPs) to be used against harden Iranian nuclear sites.

Several of our Boeing YAL-1 Airborne Laser weapons system with a megawatt-class chemical oxygen iodine laser (COIL) mounted inside a modified Boeing 747-400F. It is primarily designed as a missile defense system to destroy tactical ballistic missiles (TBMs), while in boost phase. The aircraft was designated YAL-1A in 2004 by the U.S. Department of Defense.

Just as a start! We may also need to give Israel a couple of our mothballed Aircraft Carriers so they can project their air power closer to Iran when they attack their nuclear sites.

Israel had better look elsewhere.

Israel is too honest for the White Mosque
which clings to Iran and N. Korea and Turkey
and ISIS and al Qaeda.
