Will someone tell me why, with all the money we’re spending on Obamacare and the money hospitals lost on ERs when the uninsured went there we can’t just subsidize the poor?
If we keep a free market insurance and subsidizes Medicaid for those who can’t afford any insurance, it should work. No, everyone wouldn’t have the cadillac of healthcare. However, those at the bottom would still have the same basic care we’re all going to end up with if we don’t stop trying to even things out.
And isn’t the point of capitalism that those who work hard will have something to show for their efforts? The way we’re going now, no matter how hard you work you’re going to end up equal partners with your socialist neighbors.
That doesn’t work, been proven time and time again. And Twitter-heads, news break, everyone won’t have iPhones when all’s said and done because everyone can’t afford iPhones.

I don’t recall poor dying in the streets because they couldn’t get into a hospital.
Hospitals were forced to charge higher amounts to their paying customers to make up for all those without insurance.
