The Story That Tells Everyone Who the Cop-Sack Really Is… You’ll Be Shocked! [ Waco ]

...When they headed to Twin Peaks that day, there was never a peaceful meeting planned. The Bandidos had no idea anything was going down, which is why they had a rather sad showing of attendance in comparison to the people brought in by the Cossacks. Several of the men in that club claim that they had other plans that day and were called in to Twin Peaks that very morning. They arrived in a forceful showing of numbers and soon flooded the patio and parking lot with Cossacks. Many witnesses say that the Cossacks posted themselves like sentries all around the parking lot...

-- how could they have known something was going to happen, if no one else in either club did? --

I likely caused some confusion by attempting to distinguish "groups" from "individuals in groups." However, that distinction is CRITICAL to understand my post, the one you're responding to. Take a moment to read that post again.

If Barnum or Big 'O or Campbell decide to provoke Bandidos at Twin Peaks, then they know they are going to do so. That does not mean that all Cossacks know, just that some of them do. If Barnum knows, or some other LE informant knows, then they can tell the cops that this intention exists.

I don't think the entire group of Cossacks was there for a fight, but I do think some individual Cossacks were there for a fight.

I don't think the entire group of Bandidos was there for a fight, and I don't see any "biker lore" that inclines me to think that any individual Bandido was there for a fight.

Not that the cops have perfect internal communications, but as a group, I think the cops AS A GROUP are more likely to know that somebody intends to provoke a fight at Twin Peaks. Seems weird, I know, that a greater percentage of cops on scene could know of a Cossacks plan, than the percentage of Cossacks.

PS to my last post.

It is even stranger. Campbell was a Cossack Road Captain from Dallas. He didn’t ride with his club in normal fashion as Road Captain, but went in a pick-up with a couple of his “brothers.”

The blog to which this post is linked implies that Cossacks were called to ride to Waco as late as Sunday morning, for a show of force. Maybe the Cossacks from Dallas were only those who arrived in that truck. Not enough time to rally the Dallas Cossacks??

Anyway, something changed FAST, and whatever it was that initiated the call to ride to Waco ON THE DAY ITSELF, it was not only the Cossacks who got a call.

Most of the arrested bikers from Dallas were Bandidos and affiliated clubs. Indeed, the Bandido who was disrespected, leading to the mayhem and deaths — Martinez, was the Bandido Club President from Dallas.

His Sgt at Arms allegedly shot Richie, Chain, step-son of Big O, at close range, the first death. I have not known who the Sgt. of Arms is. Maybe there are clues among those from Dallas who were arrested.

I count in addition to Martinez who was released on the original $1 million bond:
Christopher Joseph Carrizal, Bandido, released, 200,000, foreiture

Matthew Ryan Folse, I do not know his club, released, 75,000

Michael Scott Herring, I do not know his club, released, 45,000

Sergio Reyes, Desgraciado MC (Bandido support), released, 25,000

Ricky Wayne Wycough, Vaqueros President Dallas County, released, 50,000, forfeiture

Of course not being a resident of Dallas County, I searched only by “Dallas” so do not know if others arrested were nearby.

Is Carrizal the Dallas County Sgt. at Arms?

“Campbell knew something was likely going to happen to the extent he doubted he would live through it.”

The author you link surmises:

‘Cossacks sent a hit team’

From the article:

“Many witnesses say that the Cossacks posted themselves like sentries all around the parking lot...”

Tends to incriminate those bikers that are said to not be directly involved in the fight but were just ‘hanging out’ on the grassy knoll.

“Get back to me when you have an authentic source.”

I like the source I have. I think I’ll keep her.

What source would you consider authentic?

Have you found out how many of the bikers were shot by the Cops yet? That would be some good info to have.

In one of the search warrants it was stated that they found an ‘anti-Cossack wallet’ on one of the Bandidos. No other details.

Any idea what an anti-Cossack wallet is?

“Campbell knew something was likely going to happen to the extent he doubted he would live through it.”

If the blogger and her source who wished to remain anonymous are correct, Campbell and his “brothers” did not drive to Dallas that day for the Confederation of Clubs and Independents meeting.

“Any idea what an anti-Cossack wallet is?”

Not a clue. One might only guess:

Hmmm, a Cossack with a slash through him like the “not” sign? a Cossack with a bullet hole in him??

Indicative perhaps of pre-meditated anti-Cossack sentiment?

Well, someday you can educate me on the details of the 10-20, or 25 who were at the core of action. I figure that is going to be very murky, especially on the planning or conspiracy end, and apt to NEVER be untangled. I figure I'll read about it in two or three years time.

Meanwhile, there are 150 or so others affected, who appear to be witnesses, but not involved in planning or execution. That's the part that will play out over a shorter term, is easier to untangle, and is where my primary interests lie. The other interest, and it's unlikely to come out, is the details of cop awareness and involvement, and the extent they were willing to use that knowledge to avert bloodshed.

I think the cops, if they warned Twin Peaks in advance (and I have my doubts the cops claim is true on that point), gave a vague admonition. If you run Twin Peaks, and a cop comes in and says "we have intelligence that the Cossacks are planning a hit against the Bandidos during your Sunday brunch meeting," that Twin Peaks might have called it off? The cops don;t do that, because it exposes the fact that they have an inside informant!

Tough spot. And when the fun and games turn into bloodshed, fingers point to others, all around.

But in all that mess, I'm pretty sure 140-150 of those arrested are truly innocent. The government isn't trusted already - this doesn't help.

That’s not what “she said” and you know it.

What would you think about the Cossacks sending a hit team? Considering that at least one cop was a member.

Here’s an interesting story. To me anyway.

Back when the Talladega Superspeedway was 1st opened the Sheriff was Luke Brewer. He was also the 1st Sheriff to ever be impeached. For a variety of illegal activities. My future father in law was the Coroner. Coroner 1st in line if anything happens to the Sheriff. And it did.

They’re having big problems with the Hell’s Angels during race week. Just general drunkenness, partying, running their bikes up and down Speedway Blvd. Just general mayhem. Scaring the locals. My FIL meets with the leader. Invites them to leave. Or else.

Or else what? So they rounded them all up. Seems like there were close to 100. No warrants. Takes them to an undisclosed location and beats the living hell out of them. County, State, City....ABI, maybe even FBI. All the alphabets.

As far as I know we’ve not had a problem with the Hell’s Angels since.....

So, I’ve seen both sides. Not really sure if one side is better than the other though.

Twin Peaks cooperate office stated that the local TP’s ignored warnings from both the LE AND the cooperate office.

” a Cossack with a bullet hole in him??”

One of the Bandidos had a bunch of smiley faces with ‘bullet holes in the head’ penned on them.

“But in all that mess, I’m pretty sure 140-150 of those arrested are truly innocent.”

I don’t know the number of the innocent. More to the point, I don’t know WHO precisely they are.

Which is why I follow these posts, which is why I look for more individual testimony. INDIVIDUALS are either innocent or guilty. Numbers do not inform us. Individual testimony informs us.

So where are their stories? This blogger implies she has talked to Miller and five others, but without quote marks.

Where ARE their stories? We have the anonymous Cossack very early on. We have Ledbetter, whose account is remarkably similar. We have the other testimonies from the forfeiture documents, and the Weathers bond hearing.

Where are the statements and stories of the other ~170?? These brave, anti-establishment bikers, are now too shy to speak out? Why? Some of them have spoken out, see above and etc. Why are the other 170 so silent? [We also have the Weavers and Clendennan and a few others.] Just asking, because it makes no sense to me. Were I wrongly arrested, and wearing an ankle bracelet, I would be outraged. I would put a second mortgage on the house, I would call on all family and friends, I would burn up the county and state judiciary departments with complaints, I would hire the best lawyer my house second mortgage and all my family and all my friends could come up with. I would appeal to strangers. I would contact all the local press with my story. I would not roll over.

OK we want the details of the investigation from LE. The autopsies, the caliber of round that caused each death and each wound. We want the videos.

Don’t we also want the stories from the other ~170 bikers? I do. Most of the information we now have, came from biker testimony.

Where are the investigative reporters in Texas? I have asked this question before.

The best way to achieve even belated Justice for the Innocent, is local reporting, local friends and family, local investigations. I mean Texas, not just Waco or the County.

I can’t do anything from here. Sorry. I do not know WHICH people are innocent.

LOTS of people KNOW who the really guilty are. Some, such as this blogger, may have inside information not available to the rest of us trying to sort this all out. Someone knows, LOTS of someones actually KNOW. I do not. That is not my fault.

I don’t have a vote for the DA there. Lots of people do. Where are their stories? Do we FReepers believe in the Constitutional principles of local rule? If not, why not? Are the Waco and County and State voters too stupid to vote out corrupt officials? And why, under Our Grand Constitution, should FReepers from elsewhere, deem themselves superior in judgment, albeit from much further afar, than those who are closer to the scene and have more at stake?

AND if you believe otherwise, such as Liberal activists do, feel free to go to Waco and interview people and even put on a protest. No one is stopping any other FReeper from doing that.

SORRY Cboldt, much of this is not directly pertinent to your direct comments, but to the topic at large. Well, the topic at large is why any of us are commenting at all . . .

-- Why are the other 170 so silent? --

Various reasons, I would guess. Supposedly they have been ordered to not go public. Could be a condition of bail? One of the anonymous accounts says, "I have been advised by an attorney not to tell this story because I may be arrested." Maybe just advice of counsel.

They gain no advantage in the law by going public. Even if under unlawful orders (to not speak), why risk further irritating the people who are exercising dominion over your liberty, by criticizing them?

-- The best way to achieve even belated Justice for the Innocent ... --

The reporting has been steady. I think we're entering a "quiet time" while the GJ deliberates. Texas law has the innocent under a cloud (but free, with conditions, on bail) until January next year. The public seems to be okay with cops rounding up and arresting innocent people in this incident.

I'm cynical on the "justice" angle. "Justice" and "fairness" are buzzwords used to market unjust and unfair institutions as legitimate and trustworthy.

-- Are the Waco and County and State voters too stupid to vote out corrupt officials? --

Seems to be quite a bit of that going around. Ignorance, apathy, corruption. As long as the corruption doesn't touch a person directly, and the trains run on time, and the bread and circuses continue, who cares?

-- And why, under Our Grand Constitution, should FReepers from elsewhere, deem themselves superior in judgment, albeit from much further afar, than those who are closer to the scene and have more at stake? --

Here, the matter is one of entertainment and education, but on a serious subject. Competing sides are building up a cache of "I told you so," for what that's worth.

-- ... feel free to go to Waco and interview people and even put on a protest. --

I read that a few hundred bikers showed up at the courthouse on Saturday.
