Juan, these are military officers. How do they differ from police officers, who carry guns all the time?
They are probably better trained, better disciplined, and more mature.
They kill fewer dogs too; they are used to working under far harsher rules of engagement than the cops. Nothing against cops, but Marines are in a class by themselves. I'm baffled why they aren't already armed.
