Major Garrett overstepped by wondering why Obama didn’t at least ask the ayatollahs to free imprisoned Americans as a token concession before granting them $150 billion in unfrozen assets and a pathway to nuclear weaponry. The flying monkeys have been dispatched to chastise him: Liberal HBO “Real Time” host Bill Maher took offense to a CBS White House reporter who on Wednesday admitted to intentionally provoking President Obama with a question about Iran. “Major Garrett is a huge a–hole,” Maher wrote late Wednesday in a message to his 3 million-plus followers on Twitter. Maher suggested Garrett’s interaction with the president had a racial element to it. “If you wanna ‘strike a nerve’ with [Obama], why not just scream the N word?” Maher’s tweet continued. “That should get his attention.”

Anyone else notice, that the media reaction has been to be shocked at Garrett asking a perceived unfair question.

There is no discussion of the content of the question, or of Obama’s answer. Instead all the media chatter is how they can’t believe how a fellow reporter was so mean and rude to the president.

I read about this earlier today. It makes me think about what I've said on other threads in that ones like Ferdinand Marcos, the last Shah of Iran, Idi Amin, Nicolae Ceaușescu, Erich Honecker, and all sorts of other dictators and despots who ruled in the years after World War II (post Hitler, of course) must be watching with a good touch of jealous admiration how Obama controls the media and entertainment industry elite to spout out crap like Maher does to brainwash many. And Obama does not have to (yet) build walls or shoot people trying to escape or outright impose martial law.
