“Where do we find such men?”
That memorable line comes from James Mitchner’s Korean War novel, The Bridges of Toko-Ri. It refers to intrepid aviators lifting from a carrier, flying into untold danger. They know they may not return. They launch anyway. In boldness unfathomable to many, they willingly, artfully fly into peril. They are warriors, men of rare talent, intellect, and courage – a combination essential for victory.
Needed warriors are now being purged from the U.S. military. If America went to war right now with China or Russia, we could lose because of these purges. We’re losing top-level warrior-leaders to make the crucial differences in battle. They’re being systematically drummed out as politically incorrect. When the going gets tough, political correctness (PC) is useless. Then the brilliant, wily fighters, the coolest heads, the most courageous warriors, are needed to lead regardless of social views or record.
Today, in large measure, our fighting forces are led by briefcase-carrying busybodies, yes-men more interested in enforcing political beliefs and social change than leading in battle. They care more about their careers than what’s happening to the military and thus the country. Just last week, a new downsizing of the army was announced – without a protest.
Warriors are not prized. They are criticized and ridiculed. Up-and-coming warriors who admire the purged want to emulate them, see what’s happening, and are exiting as a result.
“Soldiers like George Patton or Curtis LeMay are no longer wanted,” writes LCOL Greg Lee, USMC (ret.) in a well-circulated internet forward. “The fundamental job of the military, ‘kill bad people and break things,’ has become critically hampered by ‘rules of engagement’ [and policies] who’s [sic] guiding logic is political outcome, not successful combat.

Obama wants a compliant military that will not refuse when ordered to impose martial law and disarm Americans.

Let us not forget the UN was chuck full of commies. The Norks had the mission plans before the pilots. The pilots would be greeted by name over their radios before they got wheels up.
The LGBTs in Obama’s military would be more than willing to round up all the Christians who oppose the deviant path they choose to follow.

And who will fire upon Americans is/when ordered to do so.
Yea, if they could move it anywhere.
Yea, if they could shoot down missiles and artillery and track them good enough to minimize damages.
Yea if they were all as well trained and well fed as our military.
Manpower doesn’t matter in conventional war if 9/10 of your men are standing around with their D*#$’s in their hands with nothing to do but be bullet fodder. Plus, what are they going to do? Airdrop their million man army into a country with 100 million armed civilians, thousands of places to hide, and cities that are actually full of people?
Sounds like a bad B movie.
The warriors are there, and they will step up when they are needed. Just like they always do.
It is not possible for the US Army to maintain martial law on a population of 300,000,000. Maybe a few of the larger cities but that is it.
And, Marine Lt. Colonel Kate Germano, a Commander of female recruits was fired this week for telling the women they would have to equally meet the mens’ physical training requirements or they would never have male Marines’s respect as equals and never be able to effectively lead.
That truth, and the brass stones that she has that the Commander in Chief lacks that it took to say it in his military, cost the country an able leader.
Imagine being a young Christian private and seeing an officer that is a man dressed in a woman’s uniform. Said man wearing lip stick and ear rings and the whole nine yards are you are under orders to salute such a thing and show respect at all times.

I guess the old adage ... "Men, mission, self” has gone by the way.

Sadly too many do not recall the oath:
“I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”
The “orders of the President...and the...officers appointed over me” must be legal orders or everyone has the duty to disobey them.
