A new program to connect low-income households in public housing with Internet access and Internet-capable devices announced Wednesday will aim particularly at children and include training to help program participants maximize their use of the new devices and technology.
ConnectHome will link 270,000 households, and 200,000 children, with broadband access in 28 communities including the Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma.

The only consolation is that there is no shortage of poor whites in this country that are just as entitled to the freebies; it is breaking the system, but I still feel better knowing they are getting some freebies as well...
I work for a large cable internet provider and one of our installers was shot last year. Fortunately he survived.
He has moved on to another line of work.
