Without addressing the allegations against Bill Cosby directly, President Obama Wednesday all but called the comedian a rapist during a White House press conference. Asked at a news conference whether he believes Cosby should be stripped of the Medal of Freedom he was awarded back in 2002, Obama initially sidestepped the issue by saying he doesn’t comment on cases where there might yet be criminal or civil charges and that he wasn’t even sure how the medal could be taken away. “There’s no precedent for revoking a medal. We don’t have that mechanism,” the president said. But then, days after news broke that Cosby admitted to purchasing pills with the intent of giving the pills to women before sex, Obama said this: "If you give a woman, or a man, for that matter, a drug and then have sex with that person without consent? That's rape. And I think this country, or any civilized country, should have no tolerance for rape."

Obama has made bad choices for the medals he has passed out. I’m sure he wants no method of revoking those medals once he is out of office.

This is a "canned" diversion which he and the MSM saved for just such a moment.
We shouldn’t have tolerance for gay marriage, killing unborn babies, or illegal immigration either - but, sadly, a lot of Americans do. Plus, if you are Bill Clinton, rape is ok with the sheeple.
I wonder what his response would be if Cosby was white? I guess we all know..............

Once again, this is not an issue the President should address at all at this point as anything more is purely conjecture. What about due process and innocent until proven guilty? There should be no talk of revoking until there is a conviction by a jury of peers in court. Simple as that if our Constitution is followed. That’s the beauty of our founding docs.

Not supporting Cosby’s alleged behavior in the least, but do support his right to his day in court. Just another witch hunt until then. If found guilty, he should and will be prosecuted (nail him to the wall and by all means revoke). But naturally our constitutional scholar in chief is clueless. Oh, wait, what constitution? What an idiotic response from Obama.
Bush gave the medal to Cosby.
