Could be his friends and co-workers gave him grief. It is San Francisco after all. Or maybe Donald just gets on his nerves.

The guy is on record as charging that San Francisco "essentially rolled out the red carpet" for his sister's killer, so treating him as somebody who wants to do the same thing for illegals may not be fair.

Not totally unexpected from a family that is in shock and bereaving the lost of a loved one. Inconsistently is typical when in a state of shock.

I’m sure the Trump campaign manager wishes s/he had reached out to the family beforehand, just as a common courtesy.
