I have lost all faith in the legal system. I have personally witnessed it being twisted and manipulated. I have very little faith the “bikers” will get anything resembling justice or fairness from the system.

In some states, such a placement is not legal.
In all states, such a placement is not smart.
Government governs with the consent of the governed. Why do anything to taint the case, either legally or in a PR sense?
He should step down. It’s the smart move.

Art. 19.01. APPOINTMENT OF JURY COMMISSIONERS; SELECTION WITHOUT JURY COMMISSION. (a) The district judge, at or during any term of court, shall appoint not less than three, nor more than five persons to perform the duties of jury commissioners, and shall cause the sheriff to notify them of their appointment, and when and where they are to appear.
