....Donald Trump seized on the dramatic prison escape of drug lord Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán as evidence for his often repeated riff about crime and Mexican immigrants, crowing, via Twitter, "I told you so!"

While I’m not disposed to vote for Candidate Trump, I find immense pleasure at his exposure of our Southern problem as our greatest threat very satisfying.
He is simultaneously giving Democrats and liberals apoplectic fits while forcing the RINOs in our slate of would-be President candidates to pick a side on this that is unequivocal. Good on him.
Subsequent tweets tweaked some of his presidential rivals. “Can you envision Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton negotiating with ‘El Chapo’?” he asked.....
Following it up with one that bragged, “Trump, however, would kick his ass!”
Told me what?
There is no evidence that Chapo is in the United States. In fact, the U.S. wanted the Mexican government to hand over Guzman and they refused. So it’s the exact opposite of what Trump talked about.
Timing is everything someone once said. This Guzmán character is the biggest drug lord in the world FNC said this morning.
It is simply unbelievable that this country to our South is so poor. It lacks basic infrastructure, their people are some of the poorest of the poor. Drug / human smugglers and it's own government terrorize their own citizens. Spending just a lil while in Messy-co, you come away with a people simply struggling to survive.
With that said...why the hell are we half way around the globe nation building when we should have troops nation building just a stones throw down South.
Why would Bush or Clinton negotiate with the guy and threatening to Kick El Chapo’s ass sounds like drunken barroom bluster.
Proving the negative, that he “isn’t” here is next to impossible. It requires truth or capture, or a body.
One could say there “is no evidence” that the Obama DoJ, ATF and who knows else colluded to give Mexican drug cartels automatic weapons as part of F&F. Yet there is at least one dead border agent, apparently due to said weapons.
The inescapable conclusion is that you can’t trust anything about this government’s proof or denial of anything.
No way the guy didn’t have inside help.
Well to be fair, You can bet both Bush and Clinton’s relatives negotiated with him or one of HIS ‘relatives to get coke into Mena or keep illegal aliens flowing freely across the border to provide cheap labor so I don’t see it as an impossibility.
That said, if Trump had a clue he would understand that you don’t negotiate with a Mexican Drug lord OR a Muslim whackjob world ‘leader’. You KILL them.
Agree. But decorum and timing are essential to what I have come to believe is a "new awakening." The realization of the true evil our southern friends represent.
This is El Chapo second escape from Mexican jail? Who and where was he arrested each time?
I think decorum is exactly what is not needed. Shock treatment is. As much as I dislike Trump his shock treatment is what what got this ball rolling to begin with.
Indeed Mexico is a bad place: Murders of Christian Pastors
Trump has won—he changed the debate in ways no other could do. He has done a good service to the nation. I see him as a stalking horse for Ted Cruz! Maybe a good VP choice as well. He should be put in charge of the border and the Wall with Mexico. A Border Czar! Just waiting for the Debates—what will Jeb do when he talks of Love—when Trump reminds him of all the Citizens killed by drunk illegal drivers?
I cant wait to see the MSM defending republicans. That will do the GOP more damage than anything they claim trump did to the ‘brand’.

Picture if you will...liberals. Liberals turning on their nightly 2 min. Hate to see their favorite 2 min. hater praising the hated republicans in order to harm a man who long claimed to be more Democrat than anything and who will likely use that very thing as a talking point in the debates to show his broad appeal ‘across the aisle’.
They all lost their minds....In...The twilight Zone.
Never let evidence of a failed liberal policy go to waste.
Mexican government is almost as corrupt as the American . In fact I could see a Bi-lateral effort from Washington D C and Mexico City, constructing that escape tunnel.
After all, Mexico benefits financially from drugs sent to U S and The Federals benefit by the excuse to enlarge the Federal POlice forces.
The Mexican government is corrupt and that trickles down to their prison system.
