What surprises me most is that

A: Seattle even has a Confederate Monument.

B: It has survived the 60's and 70's to this day

C: The Idiot who said this "I don't want any person - person of color, anybody, to walk by this monument and feel intimidated or oppressed," LaFevere says. "And its very existence is expressing that." Is allowed to breed! >:(

To avoid the unpleasantness of Reconstruction, thousands of Rebs moved west. I can believe it.

Most people don’t know that Highway 99 (that runs from the Canadian border to the Mexican border) was named the “Jefferson Davis Memorial Parkway” back (I believe) in the 1920’s. There is still a marker in Vancouver Washington.
