I didn't say he is a conservative, I said "conservative message". What is he currently saying that isn't true, and that conservatives don't like?
libertarian - let people do what they wish behind closed door (drugs/Sex)
Libertarians: Drug-addled, baby-killing, boy-raping queer lovers (who want smaller government)...NOT CONSERVATIVE!
I was at a luncheon the other day where the group was mixed. Mostly conservative with a few libs mixed in. There was near unanimous agreement that the confederate flag needed to go. I got a bit pissed. My reasoning is below.
I was born in Miami which means I'm neither Northern or Southern but born in a grey area. Aplce where few are ever born but just migrate to either from the North or the South. I was not raised with a perspectve either way as far as being a southerner goes.I have always made up my own mind.
I travel a lot.
Coincidentally 60-70,000 miles per year exclusively throughout the south.
Truth is you won't find any nicer people in the entire contiguous 48 than those in the south. They are respectful of every person that walks in their door, seldom exhibit any prejudice and treat everyone with respect. Of course there are always those few who don't. But today they are a very small minority and to declare the entire body of southerners as racist is just ignorant or stupid.
The confederate flag means many things to many different people. Little of which was intertwined with racism but more a symbol of where they live and not past grievances. For that reason it's insane to blame a flag for the historic problems of a very few and anyone should have the right to fly the confederate flag wherever they choose. I had few arguments when I was through.
And you got to love that he shouted over and over again about Jeb Bush “He’s terrible”.
Was it to become horrible rinos giving into the the very enemy, or a variation of, they fought so hard to vanquish? How does that make any sense.
Other than Ike your examples are poor.
Trump is forcing all of the candidates to address the issue of illegal immigration. Even the hildabeast has had to talk about it.
This issue will show some of the differences between candidates that voters can use to choose which one to support. This will also expose RINO tendencies between GOP candidates. And, those candidates who are in this to advance their pet issues and not serious candidates for the presidency.
That was then, this is now.
Did Romney serve? Why not?
How about Boehner and McConnell? What’s there record?
From Wikipedia:
During the U.S. military draft for the Vietnam War, Romney sought and received two 2-S student deferments, then a 4-D ministerial deferment while living in France as a Mormon missionary. He later sought and received two additional student deferments.[26][48] When those ran out, the result of the December 1969 draft lottery ensured he would not be selected.
AND
Graduating from Moeller in 1968, when U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War was at its peak, Boehner enlisted in the United States Navy but was honorably discharged after eight weeks because of a bad back.
AND
McConnell enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve at Louisville, Kentucky during his last year of law school. He received an Honorable Discharge for medical reasons (optic neuritis) after five weeks at Fort Knox.
BTW, to be fair, Trump, Cruz and Walker never served, either. Only Trump was eligible during Vietnam; he went to a Military School, but never served. JEB Bush came of age in 1971, and registered for the Selective Service, but was not called up. In any case, none of them volunteered, either.
LOL! Expecting fairness are we Steve? Let me know how that works out.....
Sorry to say I have not watched any of the above. Maybe I need to broaden my scope of viewing.
Just realized the White Hut forgot about ROY G. BIV when it lit up with gay color.
She means it's a great day in RAT history because that embarrassing reminder of their slaver/segregationist/KKK/democRAT forebears is gone.
hater of the South
(she "liked" Southerner LBJ real well)
Great looking recipe. How long do you think the eggplant would keep in jars?
In the end the Confederate flag is just that a flag. It is full of symbolism and means different things to different people. Sort of like the American flag. Full of symbolism meaning different things to different people. Neither should be savaged or removed but both respected.
I heard him lose his mind with a caller/listener, going on a rant about how he HATED all Republicans....then he had Sarah Palin on.
Beck claims he is a Libertarian (I think you know my short definition)
Elvis caught hell over his hair too...then most American teen boys emulated it.
You should have seen quizzical Judy Woodruff pawing through The Donald’s coif trying desperately to find the plugs and/or comb-over. But it was all his hair! Funny!
**Our group knocked around 100,000 doors over the past decade in a slightly heavier Democrat area and won 10 of 12 elections using techniques that were frowned upon by the professional managers or as we called them, Democrat spies. We had cases where we were ordered not to knock doors even though we found it was around 20 times more effective than phone calls which we were ordered to do by those managers. The ground game is key to winning and targeted voters are the key to maximizing your efforts. Why would anyone knock a Democrat or liberal door when 100 out of 100 times they are going to vote for their team, when you can go to one of your leaners or Republicans and get an actual vote?**
Good for you!
Well 150 years ago "some of those states" didn't like that. Besides, we don't fly that flag anymore.
Old Glory was the preferred flag of the KKK.
Klan-RAT propaganda...just like "David Duke is a Republican".
Some highlights from channel surfing through the Leftist propaganda:
Tom Cotton was brilliant as usual. Of all the things Hussein has done, the Iran sellout is the worst existential threat to the United States. Unfortunately, he is the only Senate freshman of 2014 that seems to have panned out. I had some hope for Joni Ernst but she just seems a typical mushy go-along type. Of course the MSM ignore the Republicans so maybe it is just that they have not been heard. Can anyone point to a 2014 senator other than Cotton who is working out?
Carly Fiorina was great again. She is smart, fast on her feet, articulate. I would not like to see her at the top of the ticket because she does not have a political track record and does not seem like a natural conservative but she would be a great VEEP candidate who could take on the Democrat media.
Jim Webb is a total nothing. He is obviously angling for the VEEP slot. BTW the Fox interviewer was also a nothing. He let Webb get his riff off on Trump without asking any followup even as simple as whether Webb supports “sanctuary city” policies.
Nikki Halley was OK. I do not have an issue with the Confederate flags coming down. They were put up by the party of slavery and Jim Crow, the Democrats, and they belong in museums and history books not on government buildings. She did fight back when Upchuck tried to slip in his claim that voter ID is racist and other liberal bullsh*t.
Larri, yew watchin this?
