Don't ya just love how the media and the pols always are quick to remind the dumbed down citizenry that it is NOT a criminal act to cross the border.
NOT criminal??? What a pantload!
Why does any country (and they ALL do) have border control at all?
Why does the United States have to let people cross their border, with these people knowing FULL WELL they doing something AGAINST THE LAW--hence CRIMINAL--and be called RACIST for objecting to that???
Does anyone believe they just stumbled across the border??? No! They had a purpose, an intent, a plan.
Excusing this and calling those who object is not just bullshit, but pure insanity!
And as we all see, EXHIBIT A, Trump is called a racist, a hater, anti-Hispanic, for bringing up the point that people, ALREADY breaking the LAW, break other laws, too?
I'm tired of the treatment of ILLEGAL ALIENS like they're some kind of saintly or noble people. They're not!!!
They know they are breaking our laws, they SNEAK in, preferably where no one is looking, dead of night, wilderness area, tunnels, false tourist visa--with every intention of staying--not just visiting, and we're to applaud them for it???
Seriously, we need to put this argument right back in the LEFT's face. Obama is their leader on this, too.
Figured it was old, bet the new stuff is off the charts. Course Rove wouldn’t know a trend if it bit him in the backside. Romney landslide??
Sorry Fox the immigration problem is not going away so you can forget your need to get the Hispanic vote mantra.
Waiting to hear how he handles it. He interviewed Cruz last week and seemed to like him....waiting...will Cruz defend the Times, or defend Cruz.
...still waiting....
.....Todd took a middle ground, slightly defending Cruz' allegation and casting aspersions on the Times agenda. I'm pleasantly surprised.
There isn't such a thing in the US. I started noticing the PC crap long ago on "Law and Order".
Netflix has British and Irish TV...pretty good stuff especially the detective show.
Sounds yummy!
I made Melanzane sott’Olio ~ Eggplants in Oil.
I have a TON of eggplants this year—they LOVE the hot, humid weather.
Anyway, Melanzane sott’Olio, pickled eggplant preserved in olive oil, is so delicious: here’s how it’s made:
1. Peel the eggplant, cut into 1/4 inch strips.
2. Salt and press for 12 hours.
3. Rinse off salt, grill for 4 minutes each side.
4. Boil half a cup balsamic or red wine vinegar, half a cup olive oil, salt, pepper, sliced fresh garlic, a few oregano and basil leaves.
5. When it comes to a boil, drop in the grilled eggplant and stir. Turn off heat and let sit for 30 minutes.
6. Pour eggplant into jars, squishing it down tightly and top with olive oil so no parts are sticking out.
7. Tastes best when left to sit like this for a week, so they say, but I can’t help but eating some right away, and it is wonderful!
Well you made me smile Mr. Lobster, because I stuck that blurb in there just to cause puzzlement.
First, he’s around 56 years old though he looks in his late 30’s...y’all might remember the pic I put up last week on this thread...?
Second, he’s very heavy which means not much of nothing and the co-pastor is Father Jonas and, of course, he makes jokes about Jonas and the “Whale”-which is him.
Finally, well the guy has health issues, which concerns me. Father Jim, former Pastor, had health issues and I worried about that too. I’m not sure what Father Tom’s physical problem is but he has a great difficulty walking.
He does walk down the aisle for the mass beginning processional but we can sing almost ten verses of the opening hymn before he makes it to the nave. Yesterday, at the 4:30 mass, which was packed to the rafters because of summer tourists (wearing bathing suits in church) and many parishioners down at the beach are quite curious about this new Pastor at St. Jude the Apostle.
He goes up to the seat behind the altar and stays there pretty much during the entire mass, not giving out communion and not going to the podium to give the homily. He delivers th homily right from the chair behind the altar and he does a fine job. He has a microphone.
I noted during the processional at the beginning of mass that he HAD NO PANTS ON UNDER HIS VESTMENT!
All I saw was shoes, socks, and bare legs! I am sure I was not the only one.
Not that it was a problem but darn that’s odd.
I watched part of the Meet the Press panel. They all attacked Trump. The woman, I forget her name, had the last word, paraphrasing: “Well we shouldn’t really be discussing him. It’s up to us journalists to decide who should be the true nominees”
And the Latino woman spoke of him putting down an entire race. Outright lies, he’s said many times he loves Mexicans. Not one word from the panel on illegal criminals.
They are after him full bore.
The only thing he didn’t say was Pathway to citizenship. And they wonder why they continue to lose.
Shortest book ever written: Profiles in courage by the GOP.
Fantastic essay, bray!
Now that I think about it, maybe he had on shorts under the vestment?
Heh.
It was just odd as all get out.
The mask slips...again.
Just be glad he wasn’t wearing nylons.
What about the rest of the world that also would also like to come to the U.S.? An open border tells them to go pound sand.
Without control of our borders we are relegated to letting anyone who can steal their way into the country have access. Instead we need an organized flow or only the best that can actually help the U.S. An open border with Mexico ensures we are opting for only low wage earners for business and near 100% dem voters. What a sin for the country as a whole.
“New Pastor told me the Pope is a work in process”
For someone in his 60s - he is NO LONGER a work in progress.
We are doing our bit make sure he runs out of OTHER people’s money, even at the expense of the local perish.
Elections have consequences - Even elections that take place in the Sistine Chapel
We have such a vast number of horrible “princes” of the church. The only saving grace is that they are getting old. I pray the next crop is much better
If she said True Marxists the mask would have slipped.
Haley could have said this but didn’t. What a wasted opportunity.
She wanted to come off as the calm/compassionate voice of reason. If I hear her say “it is a new beginning for SC”, I think I am going to throw up. Kearns was expressing such surprise that the South was actually rising to the occasion here ( as in we aren’t the redneck hicks she thought we were).
” youre correct again as hell garner most of Donalds peeps when they fall away.”
I believe that is how Mr. Cruz is play this election. The Donald is a “god” sent in many respects. The Donal is focusing attention on the corrupt propaganda organs in a way they are hard pressed to counter.
Many of the young are internet people, so the propaganda machines do not have an easy way to capture them.
That said Facebook and their ilk are the new propaganda machines and they are as affective as the dinosaurs at ABCCBSNBCCNNFOX
