What’s a “conservative”? Still waiting for someone to explain that to me. It’s an honest question. I have found that many who call themselves conservative can’t answer that question.
Traditional American values. Constitutional government. Belief in our founding documents. All men created EQUAL and what they do with it is their call. Opposition to things that define modern liberalism. Opposition to PEOPLE defined by and as modern liberalism.
Pretty basic stuff.
Conservatives believe that there is such a thing as objective truth, and that such truths that have been proven over time as beneficial and edifying should be conserved, continued, and defended.
Liberals believe that truth is relative and therefore is not considered important. Unrestrained personal desire is how man should live. Reason and logic are subject to whim and situation.
Good question. I want our Republic back. I want our Constitution followed. I would like the three branches (checks and balances) of Government. I would like a President which wasn’t fostering internal strife. I would like a President that love his Country.
Is there another Reagan? I don’t know. I miss him.
