Donald Trump is now the super-hawk on immigration. It wasnt always so, and not so long ago. A Newsmax article from November 2012 on his views on what went wrong in the election is making the rounds. Back then, Trumps view on immigration was utterly conventionalhe wanted a comprehensive solution to accommodate immigrants who want to be wonderful productive citizens, and thought Romneys policy of attrition (infamously described as self-deportation) was maniacal and mean-spirited

Thank you.
Good for Cruz. I’d like to know the name of every candidate who believes in securing the border before we even think about anything else. Then I’ll put them on top of my short list.
” Hes bringing focus to the subject but hes no better than the other RINOs.
I give Trump credit for bringing focus on immigration, but he still doesn’t have it right.
He’s just not conservative enough in so many ways, and his Dem history is scary. Trump has given so much money to various Dems, including the Clinton crime couple.
“Have you noticed that the Dems and their RINO allies insist that securing the border and reform are linked? ....”
Yes, Reagan granted amnesty in good faith that the borders would be closed, and still our borders are not secure!
Hope Republican primary voters have learned a lesson and don’t vote for the border and “reform” linked candidates, as you say.
Rich Lowry is a flip flopper on the issue like Trump.
Except Lowry has probably been receiving anti-amnesty comments & emails non stop since 2006 but only chooses to bring up the issue every now and then.
Steve King, David Vitter, Jeff Sessions and Mark Krikorian decided on January 1, 2013 (or thereabouts) that they were going to kill congressional amnesty.
All these other people are jumping on the bandwagon.
I agree.
I think Trump is a Hillary mole. He is planning to garner a bunch of GOP support and then run as an independent candidate and usher his friend Hillary into the White House.
Preposterous
Lookthere is something all of us can do to help America.
Call your Senators and Congressional reps and tell them that you want legislation to end sanctuary towns, cities and states, and if the places refuse to overturn their sanctuary policies, then not one dime of Federal money for anything.
We cannot have some laws followed and some not. That is anarchy.
Also demand a wall be physically built at the Mexican border.
14 years after 9/11 and 44 years after the war on Drugs began, we still have unlimited amounts of drugs and people coming across this border to our detriment.

www.house.gov
Look up your reps and call them.
They want this to blow over.
But 2016 is coming, and the entire House and one third of the Senate is up for re-election.
These clowns dont give a damn about America as long as their pockets are lined, but the thing they fear most is being kicked out of DC and the access to the gravy train.
In another two weeks, they go away for all of August on their recess, and they hope like hell that you wont be as pissed about the illegals when they come back.
We cant just let one or two candidates fight the battle.
So get up and call.

I’m still waiting for you to tell me who Trump is a “ringer” for.
Is Trump just a “campaign conservative?”
Barely.
Sun: “Secure the border first and then lets have a conversation about what to do with those illegals already here.”
Conservativejoy: “That is verbatim what Cruz has said.”
That’s right, that’s what Cruz has always said. Always. As far as I can find.
It’s good to be consistent when running for President. At least I think so.
The entire law enforcement section of Cruz’s immigration policy deals with deportation.
“....Itâs good to be consistent when running for President. At least I think so.”
You bet, and thanks for the info..
“..The entire law enforcement section of Cruzâs immigration policy deals with deportation.”
Cruz is a solid conservative in every way, and I’m glad MOMENTUM is on his side!
