The law that says people have to obey court orders.

It is unfortunate that the mother has so twisted her children’s minds or has allowed them to become so defiant that the situation has deteriorated to this point.

It is unfortunate that mothers have been allowed to get away with disobeying court orders for denying visitation to fathers.

All too often children learn that if they just hold out, they will get their way. Mom won’t buy them a candy at the store? Throw a tantrum til she gives in... because people say exactly what you are saying: why are you torturing the kid? Give him a candy so he’ll stop screaming! Etc. What sort of people do these children grow up to be?

And so, here we are. From reading the transcript, it seems that this has been a long on-going situation which we are seeing the end of.

All that the children had to do was to go to lunch and behave like human beings towards their father for one hour. The children made their decisions. So be it.

"The law that says people have to obey court orders."

Ok...so you admit the children havent been charged with any crimes then?

This is about the CHILDREN refusing the order of the court to "be nice to daddy or else" and none of the court action is directed at the Mother other than to deny visitation or contact.

"It is unfortunate that the mother has so twisted her children’s minds or has allowed them to become so defiant that the situation has deteriorated to this point.

And how exactly do you know that? based on the word of one party in court and an obviously biased judge?

From what I have read from people who know the mother and children there are no stories of brainwashing or manipluation being offered....just a normal mom and kids....all the horror stories are coming from the father.

And do you have kids?

I do...some in their 20's one as young as 13...they have a mind of their own you know.....there was time period during my divorce where my youngest daughter wanted nothing to do with her mother and her boyfriend she made her wishes known...her wishes were honored and she lived with me for about a year... and barely talked to her mom and would only go somewhere with her without her boyfriend around.

After the boyfriend thing played out and they broke up...she made up with her mom and now she lives with her mom....no big damn deal...I miss her but she comes over any time she wants for as long as she wants...and I'm am glad my ex is pulling her head out of her ass at least as far as repairing her relationship with the kids.....they all hated her guts for quite a while and wouldnt even speak to her after I found out she was having an affair.

It is unfortunate that mothers have been allowed to get away with disobeying court orders for denying visitation to fathers.

See what you did there?....you totally went into generalization...you over layed a template of presupposition upon this specific case and assume that is what's going on.

And I have yet to see a court record listing the violations...will read them if they surface

Non sequiter....what about these children.

Yep and ifor one would like to see the rest of the court records to get a better sence of the history of these court appearences.

Throw away the key....they need to be taught a lesson....little ingrates. /sarc
