Just two weeks after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled, 5-4, in Texas Housing v. Inclusive Communities, that federal housing law allows challenges to zoning laws, lending regulations, and other practices that could impact minority groups even without the intention to discriminate the Obama administration has issued a final rule known as the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Final Rule in a press release. Ultimately, the rule will ensure the move of low-income individuals into higher income neighborhoods at the direction of the federal government. Any obstacles to the initiative are sure to be attributed to racial discrimination.

They are going to target majority Republican areas and you know it. This is all about busting up the current gerrymandering scheme.
Wife and I escorted the census taker off our property.
Careful. Before long they’ll be looking at how many occupants vs sq footage and if you’ve too few folks for too many sq feet, you may get some room-mates. Whether you like it or not. Look out mini house here we come.
Before you even think about moving anywhere in the US you will need permission from Obama’s new Race Agency
My grandmother was always concerned about this happening.
She told me that if the communists ever get control of the government, she was very worried that they would forcibly move strangers into her house.
Prophetic in that this was in the mid 70’s.
I'm sure all those wealthy lib high-rollers would enjoy the diversity and vibrancy of their new neighbors. (snicker)
That is why many of the “older” neighborhood still have higher price tags. They haven’t had the influx of townhomes etc.. that are HUD. However, the county has seen the area of “older” neighborhood and the newer developments are going in around and near them. ***I just want to note that I probably didn’t make it clear about the townhomes. Not saying a townhouse is “low” class. There are townhouses in this county for half a million plus. What I am saying is a percentage of those TH’s are HUD (the interiors aren’t as fancy) and they are place in the middle vs the ends.
Older Southerners have already watched how this destroyed America’s communities, and it was followed by mass immigration, as JFK’s immigration laws came into effect.
Actually what they will do is outlaw zoning restrictions.
Let’s say you live in an area with 2 acre single family zoning. They’ll put a cheap multi-family section 8 building right next to your house.
Sort of like when the government took over Robert E Lee’s home - illegally - and started burying Union soldiers in the flower gardens right next to the house.
Really?
Wildlife corridors. Places only “certain” people will be authorized to visit. Bio-zones for the animals. So, will it be divided into 12 or 13 zones, based on what, if anything can or will be produced in those zones. GHWB signed us in to this crap. And now jeb wants to become (p)resident, so that should make one wonder. And, who’s gonna read the animals in on the rules that they must stay in their designated areas.
Compare Section 8 vouchers and crime statistics, and you will find an almost 1:1 correlation. This particular supreme court decision is more dangerous to the average American than than the other terrible decisions made that week IMO.
We need to change how to measure and continually monitor who actually is a “minority”. Crackers must be close to becoming a minority. When the Hispanics become the non-minority, it will turn everything on its head.
Apparently the tables have turned in cali. How many minority white folk gonna be signin’ up?
If this goes through, look for racial tensions to get even worse than they are now. Oh, and look for Republican-leaning neighborhoods to be flooded with Democrat voters, which is the main purpose of this action by Obungo. Gotta dilute the voting bloc, don'tcha know.
“If”? When it goes through.
Low income “luxury” cabins?
