We got a call and he landed at Los Angeles. Now, he is waiting on a plane to fly from Chicago to there so he can fly that plane somewhere, but United is so backed up in Chicago he doesn’t know when that plane will get there. If it gets there past the time he can fly (rules about hours per day he can stay awake), he will be stuck there until tomorrow.
He didn’t know about the stock market - when he’s flying, he gets nothing from the outside world.
