2) Chinese stock trading halted.
3) U.S. stock exchange halted.
4) Banks closed in Greece.
5) US mint suspends sale of American Eagle coins.
6) United Airlines flights grounded.
7) Web sites like Wall Street Journal (financial web site) and Zerohedge (financial web site) shut down.
8) Possible Cyber Attack?

Can we connect the dots, or is this just a coincidence?
To stop a complete meltdown in the market.
Our Market was down 200 points right as China started taking a nose dive.
Then all of a sudden the NYSE has a glitch?

Russia working with China to stop the market collapse there (Putin’s go it alone plan is shattering)

Someone did a study a few years back where they culled articles from newspapers during a particular period of the 1920’s and compared it to a similar timeframe today.
The upshot was that there was just as much bad news back then as there is today. But the reporting of most of it was confined to local newspapers. It did not get on the wire or Twitter and get blasted around the globe repeatedly.

They already know you’re overly gullible, if you weren’t you wouldn’t think every downed server is an attack and they wouldn’t feel compelled to say “no it wasn’t an attack”.
Yeah, that could happen. ;-)
Not every downed server is an attack. Not every plan crash is terrorists. But some are. Recognize the signs.
As recently as the 70s and 80s phone connections would just drop and people’s would just redial.

Not really. Most of them aren’t actually a big deal, and it’s unlikely most if any of them are related.

I agree. I think this is a lot of it.
Similar to all the “earthquakes”. Just because we can easily track them and keep count of all of even the smallest swarms, doesn’t mean there is a huge rise in them.
All of the cancer and diseases over the last few decades. We are now able to diagnose and treat much better. Does not necessarily mean more cancers or diseases, just means that more people dying of “old age” can be diagnosed with specific cancers and diseases, and maybe even treated.
