Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

I have been a dues-paying member of the American Federation of Musicians since I was ten years old, playing congas and timbales in a Havana night spot. And, more recently, I spent nearly a decade enjoying the learning and sharing of the musical stewpot of that city, and giving back just a little of the Blues that had come my way.

And as for this century, I have mostly been a practitioner of the Tenor [four-string] banjo. Which is not to necessarily say that I am especially good at it, or that I should play it.
