Don't want to see them destroyed; be a cultural loss for all humanity, but I am not willing to expend one single American life to protect them either.
Those architectural monuments belong to the people of Egypt; it is their responsibility to protect them, not ours.
I don't think the Egyptians, the Saudis, the Libyans, or the French would expend one single dollar or life to protect the Lincoln Memorial or Mount Rushmore.
