This goes beyond Conservatism though, as simply a rule of law issue.

Screw you Linda Chavez. Mexicans are a drain on Americans economy and a monstrous drain on our hospitals, schools, prisons , social welfare systems, and our over all infrastructure. They contribute nothing to our economy. Quite the opposite. They take some thirty billion dollars out of this economy every year and send it back to Mexico in the form of remittances. Mexicans are parasites. Maybe if Mexicans would put just half the energy into fixing their country that they do into destroying America than maybe some day Mexico will be a place Mexicans don’t have to run away from from.

She USED TO be a good conservative...but the idea of going ethnic just because of her last name is SICKENING, and she’s making it MUCH TOUGHER for conservatives to trust anyone other than those with lily-white blood lines.

Like all PC ideologues, Chavez mixes and matches bits of information to deceive. It's true that violent crime is down in spite of there being more illegal immigrants in America than ever before. She's smart and honest enough to admit that the latter isn't the cause of the former, but she isn't smart or honest enough to admit the fact that among those incarcerated, illegals in particular and "Latinos" generally are disproportionately represented. In other words, we have less crime thanks to better enforcement and policing. Among the crimes we do have, "minorities" are still responsible for far more than their fair share.
The Scottsdale area is beautiful. I was really impressed with the Sonoran Desert. Nothing else like it anywhere.
