Donald Trump – who rocked national headlines for saying Mexico mostly sends criminals across the border into America – has now lost a lucrative deal with NASCAR over comments he made about a recent murder suspect who’s also an illegal alien.

Hang tough, Donald.

.....................

He has earned my support. He’s out there fighting the fight, not just bloviating platitudes.

How many times can NASCAR management shoot the organization in the foot in one week?

They may have to see if they can join the National Association of Wheelchair Racers.

(No offense to genuine wheelchair racers - those guys & gals are awesome!)

Yep....they (and even a tiny handful, here) may claim it was bad management ~ but, Penney’s has likely noticed the dip in conservative $$.

Ignoring the majority, for the 1 - 2% minority doesn’t usually work out so well.

WIKI---The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) is a family owned and operated business venture that sanctions and governs multiple auto racing sports events. It was founded by Bill France, Sr. in 1948 and as of 2015, the CEO for the company is his grandson Brian France.[1]

NASCAR's official headquarters are located in Daytona Beach, Florida, although it also maintains offices in four North Carolina cities—Charlotte, North Carolina; Mooresville, North Carolina; Concord, North Carolina; and Conover, North Carolina.[4] Regional offices are located in New York City, Los Angeles, and Bentonville, Arkansas while international offices are located in Mexico City and Toronto. Additionally, owing to its Southern roots, all but a handful of NASCAR teams are still based in North Carolina, especially near the city of Charlotte.

NASCAR is 2nd to the National Football League among professional sports franchises in terms of television ratings in the United States.[5][not in citation given] Internationally, its races are broadcast in over 150 countries.[6]

In 2004, NASCAR's Director of Security stated that NASCAR holds 17 of the Top 20 regularly attended single-day sporting events in the world.[7] Fortune 500 companies sponsor NASCAR more than any other motor sport,[8] although this has been in decline since the early 2000s.[9]

“lost a lucrative deal with NASCAR”

NASCAR, NBC Sports Group reach landmark deal

http://www.nascar.com/en_us/news-media/articles/2013/07/23/nascar-nbc-sports-group-sprint-cup-nationwide-landmark-deal.html

Is NBC pulling NASCAR’s strings now.
I’d say so.

Crap. Did I spell it out without *&^% as in “n*&^%r”. If we eliminated it from rap “music”, they’d all be instrumental tunes. Anyone remember NWA? Do they have to change their name now? Do all Lynyrd Skynrd offending album covers need to be blanked out?

NASCAR is a business.

Yes, they are... and they are making a very poor business decision here, by following the easily-led sheep and the hard-core Leftists... just as they did days ago with the Rebel Flag ban. It will cost them revenues, which should be their primary focus.

It would be great if it cost them big time but I am skeptical.

I disagree. Loud-mouthed or not, Trump is saying what millions of Americans want to say themselves but are silenced because of the Marxist Left's PC police, who come up with these phony "offenses" every time somebody voices their own opinion.

I will not purchase goods or services from those businesses who have buckled under and caved in to the liberals' PC crap. Not will I vote for someone, like Jeb Bush, who sounds like every other liberal out there when he says he's "offended" by Trump's remarks. I don't want a president that is so easily "offended".

There is nothing in the Constitution that protects you from being offended. This is the victim game the Left has played forever. Donald Trump is not playing these commies' games. Good for him.

Maybe you can vote for that milk toast George Pataki. He's not saying anything controversial. As a matter of fact, he's not saying anything at all. Great candidate for those that like bland and no substance. George who?

“Trump’s remarks on immigration are resonating with Americans and neither party even wants the subject to be discussed. They don’t want the massive Hispanic crime problem discussed, nor do they want the displacement of American workers and the costs of immigration dumped on the taxpayers to be discussed. Therefore they are trying to take Trump out before this debate takes on a life of its own that the party guys can’t control.”

Trump is a narcissistic clown. Just because he happened to hit one right note does not make him a hero. He has supported Dems and Dem causes for years. He lacks gravitas and compared to Cruz, Walker and others, he is a wack job.

Pataki has even less chance than Trump although they probably have the same motivation.

Well, now you have changed the rules in the middle of the game.

My comments were about your claim about Trump's loud mouth and businesses having no business associating with him because he might offend someone. You never mentioned Trump's chances of winning, so I didn't address that. Now you switch gears and talk about Trump and Pataki's chances of winning and their motivations. New game entirely.

None of us know, at this early stage in the race, what chances any candidate has. In 2008, McCain won the nomination when he was written off for dead early on. Best to hold our cards a while longer before placing our bets.

Trump is all over the place on a lot of issues. Anyone expecting him to take consistently conservative positions is going to be disappointed.

That does not take away from the important contribution he is making by talking about the damage being done to this country by immigration. Other than Ann Coulter, Trump is the only public figure that is taking it to the leftists on immigration policy.

Trump's big mouth has everything to do with why he can't win.
