What I find particularly strange about the ruling is that the bakery has to pay a fine to BOTH lesbians. Only one lesbian entered the bakery attempting to purchase a cake. Yet the bakery is liable to both lesbians.

If a black is refused service at a restaurant, that black might be due a fine for discrimination, not the black person's entire family.
