If so many Jews in the USA are adamantly opposed to private gun ownership why is it that Israel has the highest per capita incidence of gun ownership..?

Good for them. Unfortunately the majority American Jews are anti-gun, I would love to see them change their perspective about that, but I won’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen.
